  1. Hmmmm. What video card is it? Any chance you can try a different output? I'm assuming it's a computer issue and not a monitor issue if the monitor was fine before. Can you try a different output on the video card?
  2. Is the video cable plugged into the motherboard or the video card?
  3. Silly monitor. Why u no get signal. Do you have a dedicated video card? If so, do you have the monitor plugged into that or the on-board output?
  4. Just so I understand. 1) Power supply died 2) Swapped in old 160 watt unit and it booted but kept restarting 3) Bought a new 520 watt and put it in 4) Computer AND monitor won't turn on? Or computer will turn on but monitor won't?
  5. I clicked it without even thinking and it brought me to YouTube. No worries. Although I should probably look before clicking more LOL!
  6. Ooh! Gorgeous 650D! Corsair makes some awesome cases! TinyPic makes my screen all squished >_< Just popped open Prime95 to get the CPU into Turboboost. Otherwise it sits all bored at 1600mhz and that's no good for a screenshot It'll run Prim95 for hours though with no issues. Highest it gets is around 70C (I need to re-do thermal paste)
  7. Just have Steve's guy sandpaper it down for you. Worked wonders on his hood. Should be the same touch-up for this.
  8. Mr. Cool Ice has to be one of the worst I've seen, mostly because it's damn near impossible to hide besides long sleeves and it's not even a cool tattoo. The guy looks like a total pussy too.
  9. You said the spider came off the landing because whoever first built the sub didn't scuff the surface of the landing, but then you proceeded to glue the new spider on without scuffing the landing? I am confus?
  10. I had every intention of adding a second card. Which is why I grabbed the 850w. Just had to wait for a certain holiday deal to pop up Got my first 6950 2Gb card from AMD back in June for $169. Looks like their Winter Holiday deal includes a processor as well. I have no use for it, so it'll prolly be my little brother's Christmas gift. 2nd card will be ordered tonight and on its way soon! Can't wait!
  11. he wishes he could get into windows. he cant post right now Oh, I understood that. I also had replied before I saw it was the 9800GTX so i figured it was a silly HDMI issue. Please tell me you have the 6-pin plugged in
  12. My ASUS P8Z68 doesn't have onboard video output either. What video card is it. My computer wouldn't run video out of the HDMI port of my 6950 until I installed drivers but ran out of DVI just fine and that's what I use for my main display anyhow. If the video card has VGA or DVI on it plug the card in and run the monitor off one of those at least until Windows and drivers are all set and going, then swap the output (if you're trying to use HDMI).
  13. Yet another vote for the Sundown SA-15's or the Fi SSD 15's. I've personally installed a few of the "older" SSD's and one of the newer and they've all taken well over 1200 clean rms with no issues. For the SSD's I'd personally recommend the cooling option if you want to run over 1200 to them but it's an extra $30 so your call. SA-15's will take double their rated power (600 rms) cleanly if you're doing it right in the proper box.

Fosegate 6.5" components is my vote. They're top quality speakers, they sound like ear sex, and that price is phenomenal.
  15. i wanna get it but is it any good? I want your pc >.> I was proud of mine till you came and posted yours xD. but anyways its alright, not my favorite game but damn with that DX11 patch shit looks amazing. If you haven't already I would buy Battlefield 3 that game looks so nice maxed out and is pretty fun. Btw i just built my new pc last month and got that same motherboard. My build: i5 2500k @ 4.7Ghz on air cooling 16Gb DDR3 ram Asus Sabertooth P67 (same as meades ) EVGA GTX 570 Superclocked Coolermaster HAF X 942 Corsair 750W PSU 1tb hhd 320gb hdd 500gb external looking to getting an SSD after I figure out what sub+amp to order at the end of this month xD. Slapped my ASUS sticker that came with my mobo on the side window. Dont mind that white cord you see its hidden now. What is with peeps and getting all 4 RAM slots filled with 4GB sticks? Please tell me you're running virtual machines or something with 16GB of RAM? And if you were, the 2500 would be a better option. So many better things to toss money at (an SSD) than excess RAM. SMH...
  16. I figured somebody had seen it. Thing has like 2.6 million views. :trippy:
  17. God damn it YouTube. You did it again. I was watching How It's Made and somehow I made my way to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3A1nprfuJs&feature=related
  18. If it were a PC then i'd just tell you to pull the battery, hold the power button for a few seconds, and pop the battery back in. It's a sealed unit though. If you bought it at Best Buy they can help with it under the manufacturer's warranty. If you bought it elsewhere, you still have 90 days of over-the-phone support from Apple.
  19. Shut down the computer. Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time. Press the power button to turn on the computer. Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC. The SMC is the System Management Controller. It does stuff like respond to power button presses or closing the lid.
  20. N8, you clearly know nothing about computers man. Need to go lurk on some computer forums i keed, i keed!
  21. I would also run DBAN to erase any corupted files on the HDD you really want a fresh slate to work with it will take awhile depending on how large your HDD is...and once you have done the DBAN and yous till have problems installing the OS,your HDD is more then likely bad. Whoa, whoa killer. Don't make him go wipe the whole drive in order to get Windows to boot.
