Main thing was gettin back into some 5V preouts, in place of the 2v on my alpine 9856. Should make it sound at keast like it did when I had 4V preouts, hopefully even better. I'll let ya know/drop a review on it ASAP.

Well it made it just in time for xmas. Merry xmas to me... from me. I'm a "douche" I guess. But at least this way I know I'm gettin ONE good present this yr. Picked up the ipod cable with it.

Maybe USED or maybe you mean for JUST an epicenter or BOTH.....but damn if I ever seen a BNIB epic-160 for under $200. If you have some link or somethin hook a brotha up.

Ebay, or any audio control dealer. Bout $200 on ebay. And yea a song like VANs by the Wolfpack normally has almost no bass on most systems, but with my epicenter on I can push my system to the max.

Audiocontrol Epic-160. Also built in mic up to 160 db (not TL mind you but about -5-6db from a TL) Also has option of voltage display instead of SPL and frequencey boost selector and bandwidth too. Again...I love mine. I listin to a lot of Reggeaton/Loony tunes, Daddy Yankee, Akwid, Yandel y Wisen, Voltio, Calle 13, etc... and it works wonders.

I have an epic 160 and I love it, would not want a system w/ out it and it has a defeat function that the older epicenters and similar devices don't have. I used a SS BX-12 and it seemed to work "ok" but not nearly as well as my Audiocontrol unit and there is no defeat mode so it's always on. I could research it to find out exactly what/how/each one does what it does and why one is better than another but I'm sure you can search it just the same. So IMO-Audio control over the others but I have not tried the coustic Bass10 I think it was or other brands. Hope that helps.

Theives know folks have stuff in their cars from shopping or hiding gifts from their kids so yea lock em up tyte and keep an eye on ur stuff fellas. That sux bro-at least they dint get any audio... Hope no one else gets hit. I keep mine inside but I know it's not always that easy for everybody-maybe a car cover w/ lock, alarm em up, and keep an eye on em.

X2 on a drum. I love cali...HATE the gun laws. Glad I live close to NV. IMO-Neither work as well as a regular 30 or 40rnd, but drums jam "less". Accuracy I'd take a colt/AR variant hands down, but stopping power, penetration, and "scare factor" AK all the way. Nice rifle.

Soon as my new deck is in I will have my Alpine 9856 for sale. almost brand new and I have the ipod cable for it new in the package. I just ordered a Kenwood. tryin something new.

Welcome aboard sir.You are correct that you will find far less BS HERE than on any other forum. About your alarm problem-have you considered a Proximity sensor? A radar device that detects movement around and or inside your vehicle allowing a dual stage sensor function w/ out the often "false alarming" impact sensors? maybe something to consider.

Thnx. It won't sound like much compared to 4-15's ported but Yes I ALWAYS wish/try/plan to go to AR we'll see. Last yr my mom had health isssues that kept me from goin and this yr I have a lotta loose ends to fix If I plan on running at all, so we'll see. I guess that = a solid "maybe, I hope so".
