settings on 100x4 help
Skullz replied to Saltine's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
Personally i would just use full range and not use any of the on board crossover and instead use something else to control that portion. Blowing a tweeter has nothing to do with crossing something over and more to do with the speaker itself not handling the power given it. -
Musicmatch can convert thousands of tracks in one run vs. going through every track doing it 1 at a time.

I love the ability of being able to completely redo track tagging with it.

Musicmatch works like a charm. http://www.oldapps.com/musicmatch.php

Just go to court and see what the judge has to say, i have seen judges be pretty cool to first timers as long as your polite well dressed and give a good detailed explanation on the events that happened. He may dismiss or reduce the cost of the ticket to something more affordable as everyone is being pinched in this economy. -

You should really join this forum if you haven't already as they'll know every damn problem you can run into and more than likely help point you in the right direction on getting it fixed. Every make and model will have its own set of problems and going to a forum dedicated to your make can go a long way in helping you get it fixed or atleast knowing the most common problems they tend to have. Best part of those forums are people selling parts that may be hard to come by any other way, good luck and hope they get ya fixed up. http://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/ -
Question for Mr. Jacob

Sounds like the coil is rubbing on the pole as it travels up and down, with the speaker out of the box try pulling on the sub lightly to see if the spider is still attached on the outside and check the spider near the coil to see if it hasn't broke free there also. -
Torres calculator has port correction built where the others do not.

Not to sound like a jerk but i'm pretty damn certain you didn't bend a rod but definitely bent the valves and need a new or rebuilt head, better make damn sure they replace your water pump while they have that all apart or you'll be replacing that pretty soon as well. Since its taking so long on them getting your car fixed, i really would contact the B.B.B. and see if any complaints have been made against them in the past. -
Watch some of his tutorials on tinting.

Switch to cable. EDIT: Usually you have to have the box replaced. -
Do you have a volt meter to check and make sure you aren't dropping voltage, if that turns out that the voltage is fine and stable its time to look at the amp as maybe having a problem. How well do the speakers sound at the level they're cutting out at? Do they sound clean and clear or is there some noise or distortion to the way they sound?

Thought you were going to make a video today of the sub in action? Was there something wrong that changed your mind in how it sounded or played?
