  1. You could use some boiling water on a rag placed on it to heat it up, just use caution when playing with boiling water but should work well enough for what your wanting to do.
  2. I don't think those amps have master slave switches on em, either you'll have to run something like the jl line driver or just remove the remote and just use the volume on the h/u only.

  4. Phone splitters were never meant to use as bass knob jumpers, phone splitters have 4 wires and bass knobs need 6 wires. You might have to use something like the jl line driver and rca splitters and readjust your gains since the adjustable line driver can increase the voltage. Try contacting kicker and see if they make something for multiple amp setups.
  5. They show all the dimension you need to know for fitting into your car, the box size was w36 x 14h x 22d.
  6. The atrend site has some good boxes to get, check and see locally if they can order you one at a decent price. They have a coated spl box SPL-12DV that i think is ported to around 38hz, the closest i was able to find from an online store was the 10" for $140.00 so you might want to check and see if you can order one close to you. http://74.53.76.202/~atrendus/images/products/atrend/SPL-12DV.html http://www.atrendusa.com/ EDIT: Again it comes down to the amount of space you have available to you.
  7. This is a tad on the smaller size but should do ok till you can get one made for the subs and if the port size is what i think it is its tuned to 35hz. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-ATREND-DUAL-12-MDF-VENTED-PORTED-SUB-BOX-ENCLOSURE_W0QQitemZ350332087010QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item51916b6ae2#ht_3900wt_996 EDIT:Not sure if the sizing is correct for your ride since you haven't mentioned what you have.
  8. If your on a really tight budget just go with the audiopipes, they are far better than what you were looking at with sound storm.

  10. That sucks man that that happened but atleast its a pretty easy fix to get back on the road again.
  11. Sadly then its prolly the internal amp crapped out on you, if you got it locally try taking it back for an exchange for a new one
  12. Check the back of the h/u real closely as you may have a small fuse around there. What h/u do you have?
  13. Have you hooked speakers to the h/u directly to make sure your getting sound from it? Did the speakers work when you first hooked it up?
  14. Don't know but maybe the wire is shorting out, i never use the stock wire anymore and just replace it with new wire.
  15. It's possible that if the h/u has a fuse in the back of it could have blown if there is one back there. Depends on brand and model, you'll have to take a peek and see.
  16. What h/u do you have and did you get it new? Either the h/u isn't putting out sound, wires are bad and need to be replaced or speakers are bad, you'll have to check them all. Start at the h/u and work your way to the speakers, make sure you have good known gear to test with or you'll just run in circles checking.
  17. Did you use the stock speaker wire in place or run new wire to them? Do you have anyway to check the speaker and make sure they still work? EDIT: If you have another known good speaker to play check the output on the h/u also.
  18. You using the internal h/u amp or an external amp to run it?
  19. Depends on the ohm load you want to run, 1 ohm costing the least and 4 ohm costing the most. Keep an eye in the F/S section for 500w amps as they can pop up there from time to time at really nice prices. Check out Audio savings site on ebay for some nice amps at good prices. http://www.audiosavings.com/index.aspx
  20. Download Audacity and you can check yourself if you like. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/
  21. Check here and see if someone can help ya out with one or maybe a cross reference of other models that you can use to make finding an alt easier. http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/
  22. Then the tabs are bent in to tight preventing them from being put on all the way, try another set if you have any handy. Also check and make sure nothing is in them preventing them from being installed all the way. EDIT: I have seen some brands that literally need to be shoved on, if you can grab a vcr or something to see if they go into the holes in other equipment.
  23. You might have some older rca pins broke off inside preventing you from inserting new ones in.
