I was actually thinking about doing something along these lines, but I think I've decided on 4 8's. Here's a pretty cool video:

Not being a bitch, I just don't know what to expect. I've had plenty of needles in my arms over the years (no, not drugs) so they don't bother me. if you don't mind needles then you'll be fine. you won't miss the blood and they give you juice and cookies when you're done...win win Just checked the Red Cross's website and they don't have any drives here in the next few weeks, but I'm going to keep my eyes on the paper. They do have them quite frequently so it shouldn't be too long. Another win is it will help me work on the social anxiety issues that I've been dealing with.

Yes, that's the big thing with online classes. Make sure they are accredited and not just "diploma mills". I think most online classes from brick and mortar schools are most likely accredited.

I'm 31 and started going back to school last semester. I'm still not sure what I want to get into, but I need to get my required courses out of the way first anyway. I'm doing online right now but plan on taking physical classes soon. I will say this about online classes; you have to be EXTREMELY motivated to get your work done. I've got a lot of work to get done by this Sunday, and I work weekends. So, I'll be spending all day today doing schoolwork, when I could have gotten it done sometime over the last two weeks. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

We had to do standby for a pipe bomb that was found in a ditch a few years ago. Some guys from the local ATF came down and they blew it up. We were about 150 yards or so away from it, and when they detonated it you could feel it hit your chest.

Here's pics as of now. You can't really see the space in the spare tire well: Where I measured was in front of the spare tire, kind of under the rear seat. Here's what I came up with: Width-21" max Height-9.5" max Depth-Approximately 8" max at the middle of the tire, around 10" to 10.5" at the edges of the tire (if that makes any sense). Doesn't look like I'd be able to fit much in there after all. Edit: I guess I could cut out all that black styrofoam stuff, but I really don't want to tear anything up too much.

Not a good sub? How do you figure? And, the box is built to SSA's specs for optimal size.

I'll see if I can find some pics. It's down getting an oil change and new tires right now. I want to do some measuring and see if I can fit anything in the spare tire well. I do remember seeing some pics a while back of someone that was able to squeeze two 8's in there and still keep the spare tire, but I need to measure and find out how much space is available. I'm not opposed to doing maybe one SA-8 now, and later on adding another one and a larger amp. It would be a while though.

Yeah, but sealed isn't recommended for them. Jacob said they lose a lot of bottom end going sealed. I got really excited when I saw they came out with these, because I absolutely loved the original Solo's.

I'd LOVE to get a pair of the Solo-Classics, but just one is more than I can spend on my entire sub setup.

I just saw the AQ subs yesterday, but was under the impression (from what I've read in the past) that their subs don't do well in sealed boxes. At least on their website they act like sealed boxes are blasphemous. I'd love to do 3 E8's, but that's way out of my budget, at least if I want to upgrade my front stage any time soon, which I do. Some setups I've been looking at: 1) 2 ported E8's. 2) 1 sealed 12" IA Lethal Injection (or a single 10" if I could find one). 3) 1 sealed SA 10" or 12". 4) 2 sealed Fi X 10's (really small sealed box requirements). I've also been browsing some "mainstream" brands, but don't know if they'd live up to my expectations or not. Mainly some cheaper entry level subs, just for the sake of getting more cone area. I could be way off base with that train of thought, though.
