the 6 12s slamming at he same time would look amazing, thats why i voted 6 12s. But in reality, i like simplicity, so i would personally do 2 18s. (Ive always had 2 this and 2 that, now i love having a single sub setup)

Mixed woofer sized in the same build?
ChevyBoy95 replied to Str8Bumpin's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
you just have to make sure they dont cross frequencies with each other too much. You have to think of it like a component system, each part does a certain frequency. So you would need the 15s to play say 40-25hz and the 10s crossedover to play 40-80hz. i personally would just stick with the 2 15s and not worry about the 10s. -
how is the woofer displacement .72? 18in woofers are around .25

wow... ok.... there will be a knob on the side of the 2200 that will say subsonic, use a flat head screw driver and adjust it to a little under your box tuning. Then, about 3 things to the right, there will be a knob with LPF over it, adjust it to 70-80hz. theses "knobs" are where the bass remote plugs into the amp. try reading the amps manual.

if the one he is mentioning is the same as you listed. i definitely would stay away. rated to do 1250rms at 1 ohm but does 998rms at point of clipping. lolol -
EDIT: I WENT RETARDED AND DIDNT CHANGE PORT HEIGHT AND ACCOUNT FOR THAT SO MY PIC IS USELESS!!!! SO I TOOK IT DOWN TO PREVENT CONFUSION!
-
If only it had that option =( I do that by widning the port width yes? if so i changed it to 4" but then the Hz went way up to 55+hz i changed the port length but i had to change it by some rediculas amout just to get it back to 37hz. Sorry im epic fail when it comes to ports =/ you have to work the box size along with port length and width to get your desired port area and tuning.
