  1. That could be an option but major electrical upgrades will need to be done. The xl 18 has really gotten my attention along with the crossfire xsv2
  2. There might be a few of threads like this but I want to ask. What are some good 18s on the market right now that can handle and do well on 2-3k rms? Box size is irrelevant and so is budget
  3. coils read .2 to .1 off usually, and there can be internal resistance in a dmm. When i put the positive and negative prongs together it reads 1.1 ohms. So when i wire to 2 ohms, it will say 3.1 ohms. fyi
  4. ok cause i was looking around the site, and thought it was just someone doing reviews, thanks again.
  5. thanks man. havent really been able to find anywhere that sells Vinyl Nitrile CCF, but would one of these be comparable to it(a substitute)? you mean this? http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/products/ccf do they sell it? no contact info anywhere.

  7. X2 on foam. Dynamat and other company's make a closed cell foam that works well for this application expanding foam, or the actual foam? and i cant screw the panels back on or anything like that, because my truck is in suck nice condition (i refuse to f*** up how it looks.
  8. ok, and earlier n8 told me about how bad the snaps in the back are and how they basically break no matter what(16yr old plastic). so how would i reattach the panels that do that?
  9. How do you keep the inner plastic panels from rattling, its not really because of the metal flexing, its the pressure in the back from the port up. The B-pillars, back of the cab that i think has 4x6s in it, sound like there slapping on certain hard hitting notes. If i have to take them off thats fine but i want to know a little before i go into it.
  10. You can most likely run up to 1krms on stock electrical with no issues of voltage drop.
  11. would love SOTM votes, 2.4k on stock = no good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtWXJY9RYjs

  13. Just to tell you also, the keys from 95-98 on chevy and gmc opens other vehicles. My 95 truck key opens my brothers 98 gmc, my friends 98 cavalier, and my other friends 97 chevy truck. Won't start it but if you wiggle and giggle it, it'll open the doors.
  14. Just watch out, some of the alpines that have the lpod out on the back, the cable doesn't come with it and the cable is like 30$. But I love my CDE-125BT
