yeah the feg in the comments, but i could use his name haha said hes gonna be in my league this year i told him he should hit some forums and actually expand his knowledge cause he is filled with so much misinformed information kid just talks so much shit... but seems he may have realized he is speaking out his ass cause he kinda stopped and now is trying to get "cool" with me so i deleted the meat of the thread, felt if he was stopping that no one else needed to go and flame him -
deleted it all cause the feg finally realized he was being an idiot

Ok guys, myself along with a few others have been focusing on a team name for ourselves. This is generally for local competitors. We will all most likely be running in TNESPL. It will be a friendly team not only to compete together but also work together as well as helping eachother out. However, we can't come up with a solid team name (that isnt already taken, or there isnt a variation that already exists) **We will have decals made along with t-shirts/hoodies if the demand is up there. The ones in question are the following: Team Vital Hertz (HZ)* Team Hertz(HZ)* Vitality Team Hertz(HZ)* Insanity Team Low Peakz Team Low eXcursion Team Xcalibre Team Filthy Bangers Team Hertz (HZ)* Annihilation Team Hertz (HZ)* Intensity Team Bass Affliction ***note: all words with hz* can either be SPELLED Hertz, or labeled as HZ. Also remember we will be representing this team, so we also want to try to come up with a name we can ride around with without disrespecting people or offending anyone in anyway. It will be 100% positive. Please use the voting poll to VOTE. We will take the top 3, and have a re-vote for the number one, and hopefully you guys can help us decide. Also, feel free to say WHY or WHY NOT you voted for a specific one, also open to other options as well

BeAlLsTaR13 replied to SdBarber's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
I understand how would u rate the SA for 194.99 on Sundown can they really do 150. DB have u ever seen them burn up voice coil wise trying to get some information on this please help thanks! meh, if anyone blows a sundown sa line woofer its generally user error i had a saz3500d running at .5 to mine and they ran for like 3-4 months before i went and sold them, their still being used to this day... they can take some power deffinatly wont find a better woofer for less than 200 new like the sa12s -

if you can spare the extra cash for the t2 components, i would totally go for those over the t1s ive ran both, on roughly the same power to each side (about a 10w difference on the t2s) and the T2s run all over the t1 components in just about every aspect. however, im not a HUGE fan for RF comps, but i would still always recommend them, just something about their harsh tweets im not all about but heres the set of t2s i installed, seeing like 70w rms in this vid, we later upgraded to a sundown sax100.4 and they are very loud: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikVoB8sg1SM

didnt see the 15s part, but yes with sa15s anywhere from 3-4 cubes per woofer should be good, bout 15-16" of port per cube will suffice

thats what i keep hearing, ive never heard or seen any in person so im excited to see what they will do i had a set of sa12"S and wish i would kept em they did 145s on music on 1500rms and stayed stiff no matter what u therw at em or how hard u beat em...i have owned alot of subs and these are the only ones i was NOT afraid of hurting with to much power...they now are on a audipipe 3k doin 148s and the kid has no clue what the has or is doing...lol very good sound and and very durable subs ...u wont regret getting them...i know i didnt almost positive you just made my mind for me, what size box and tuning do the SA like? its going in my explorer so space isnt a huge concern, who needs a back window anyways ive built about half a dozen boxes for sa12s single = 1.97 cubes (my girlfriends build on 1,000w rms) pair = 3.0 cubes, 3.35 cubes, 3.5 cubes, 4 cubes, 4.5 cubes and the 2 best boxes(for a pair) were the 4.5 cube box and the 4 cube box my own box for my own install was 4.5 cubes with a single 6" aero tuned to about 35hz, i had them ran on a saz-3500d @ .5, KILLED the lows, and sounded phenominal the 4 cube box is a regular slot port with about 12.9" of port per cube, tuned to about 34hz, ran off a sundown 1500.1v2, gets real deep tuning IMO depends on the actual vehicle, i have ALWAYS (in my own installs and installs i have done) had best results with 33-35hz tuning out of most trunk vehicles my 2 separate SA-12 builds: 1st box i made, 3.5 cubes: 2nd box i did, 4.5 cubes:

BeAlLsTaR13 replied to scooter99's topic in For Sale: Car audio related equipment only
Damn that's a badass amp and woofer, I would totally take it if 1) I had the cash and 2) had a use for it lol -
I'd just get a pair of SA12s
-
bought a sundown saz1200d from him, amp was used, when i received it it was in FLAWLESS condition, could passed as BNIB, shipped fairly quickly as well

Would an SA recone fit into a CVX 12?
BeAlLsTaR13 replied to 412 CVX's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
IMO you should contact PSI and see what he will pay for them, maybe like 70-85 or so i would think at least that would be 140-170$ depending on what you get, no money needed for any recones so that'll get you to 250-300$ for a set of new woofers jpagan has a pair of sa12s in the FS section for 250+ ship, basically new dual 2s -

BeAlLsTaR13 replied to 412 CVX's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
Contact Kicker and ask if they can get you a recone kit they wont send a drop in kit, he will have to ship it to them, they will send him another "refurbished" one and just repair the one he sent in and replace it with someone else's woofer in the future
