  1. Haha just messing with you dude. If this girl IS as hot as you say though, I don't think any members here would mind taking a look...
  2. Did T3 not go through something very similar to this already? Back when the old TSS and TSNS subs were being made, and then there was the transition into the 'new era' T1000, T2000, TSNS, etc. I could be completely wrong, so please correct me...
  3. Well, congratulations, but cool story bro nonetheless. And on second thought, pics or it didn't happen.
  4. I do not know where you heard this, sir. Only major things that have been done to mine are brakes and the heater core.
  5. Wooo! I've got an 01 with about 74000 on it. Looks like you have a 2WD.
  6. Fucking this. Buying a 'temporary' amp will gain you nothing other than weak beat, when that money could have easily been put toward a real amp. It IS worth saving up. I saved for my Power 1000 for a hell of a while.
  7. Yeah, I've seen that thing on Parts Express. If Forevrbumpn doesn't have the T/S parameters available, I might have to pick one up. I do think I want to try out a T-line now though, as that's something I've never really attempted before. Could be fun.
  8. Until I can have a ported enclosure that stays relatively flat from 30-50Hz, I want to try sealed. All of my previous (L-ported) boxes have some massive output spike in the 30s, and don't put out nearly as much above or below that.
  9. I'm going to start it off sealed...see what happens. And I thought Forevrbumpn was only selling one motor??
  10. I didn't even think about polyfill. Might have to give that stuff a shot. And, well...it does look sexy...
  11. Forevrbumpn is building me an epic woofer, based on a Power HX2 motor. I specifically requested something that will be comfortable running in either a sealed or ported enclosure. I'm going to start it off in something sealed, and made from birch. My question is, would it make ANY appreciable difference to do something like fiberglass the inside and smooth it out? I'm definitely going to double baffle and brace the thing, but I wonder if anything else would enhance the enclosure in any way. Thanks! BTW...who wants a spy pic of said woofer?
  12. LOL at the guy snapping pics with an iPad. That truck is an engineering masterpiece though.
  13. Sold to this bum. Edit: I can't believe I wasted my 600th post saying that of all things...
  14. It should only make contact with your battery terminals. Horrible things would happen if the positive bus bar were to contact the car's body.
  15. A bus bar is just a piece of copper or aluminum that screws into the terminals of one or more batteries, and presumably has many threaded holes in it to run wires for amps, etc. A bus bar between several positive or negative terminals has its advantages over running 1/0 between them...fewer wire terminals/solder points, less resistance, etc.
