A little something I got for my birthday
Loudcivic replied to Autruche's topic in TOOLS and TESTING Devices
nice man. ya that straight cut bit will be toasted after a couple holes. -
so you have a fusion 2500 mono amp and a 600.4 running off of a single normal battery and stock alt. ya i would say your dropping to very low volts and clipping bass boost is one of the settings that can cause clipping because people think its a volume knob and they get more bass. yes you get more bass but it usually will start to clip

pm me what its worth to you. its coming from 49707 so keep that in mind

Kidney stones
Loudcivic replied to akrja_07's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
i have never personally gone through it but i can say this. people around me that have gone through it were in major pain. you will need pain killers and start drinking tons of water and juice. they say its very painful. my boss has them every year and his get so bad that the whole side of his body gets bruised and his kidneys hurts for weeks. he actually almost died from them one time it was so bad. when your passing it you will need to be off work and may have to goto the hospital. all i can say is hope it breaks apart and comes out in pieces so its not as painful for ya. it just really depends how bad it is. good luck -
if you do it right! whoever did mine cut a little to much out therefore only leaving a little bit of metal holding my rear quarter panel and inner fender together. when i got my system setup in there i blew them apart cuz of it. plus it rusted some and that didnt help either. imo using the roller tool you can rent from your local parts store and a buddy with some beers or a joint and you have yourself a nice afternoon of rolling fenders lol you can rent a tool similar to this at your local autoparts store

please dont cut your lip out it just causes long term issues. all the people mentioning cutting the lips out i have not seen one of you say that the lip thats left or inside of the fender needs to be primed and should be painted. what happens when bare steel with water on it?? it rust's. dont cut just roll. you can even rent the little tool from an autoparts store. my civic was already done when i got it and they cut the lip out and they just left it and didnt paint it. it rusted which caused the inner fender to separate from the quarter panel. not good at all. either roll them yourself or go have it done

its not 1 ohms stable. why not buy like a audiopipe 1500d and just turn the gains down http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-AUDIOPIPE-1500W-MONO-Car-Audio-Amplifier-Amp-Sub-/390188564940?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item5ad90d01cc#ht_3459wt_1139 and then theres a code you can put in the checkout to make it like 130 shipped but cant find it atm
