I think it would work. But ya throw a couple layers of deadener in it to help with acoustics. The shop I work for does a demo for sound deadener with a 12 in a aluminum garbage can with and without the can lined in deadener. I think it would be similar but 1/4" is good size

Well if its linked that means you have two amps right? So just do two runs of 1/0 each with a 200 amp fuse at both ends. Or 2/0 to a homemade fused distro block w/ two 200 amp fuses and two 1/0 out to the amps. That would prolly work

Cca only flows like 2000 watts or something like that versus ofc which does 3000+ my number probably aren't exact but its that kind of difference. I recommend saving for 20ft of knu fleks. Its fairly cheap and great wire.

Its been done many times before. Just be sure to fuse it near the alt and near the batt.

A hi/lo is an adapter you put in to convert speaker wires into rca outputs. This is only on stock hu that they do this. But ya I agree^^^ ground is the problem

That's weird man. At least you KNOW the stuff works. I would say double check all your amp settings and hu settings. The hu outputs might be the problem. If your running a hi/lo maybe check the outputs and peg them if you can.

Yes your gonna gain some resistance but the benefit of the secured ring terminal is worth it so you don't have a hot wire fall out of a crimped ring
