  1. No, surprisingly it ricochets from his cheek to his hand, no burns no blood, actually went back out and did it again! I wish they had a video of me chasing people with my 10 barrel 80 shot all taped together around a 2" tube! Then I had a 8 shot 3" mortar roman candle! I didnt shoot that bastard at anyone, but damn was it loud!
  2. http://static.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/Audio-Concepts/250340241648444_44061.mp4 Hope this works!
  3. Yeah next time I head back to my parents I am gonna grab the subs! I want to run them again, just upgraded a little, even though, there hasnt been to many subs since these I have heard sound as good! Especially throwing 2000 watts at the pair, and still have SQ!
  4. Well, I have 2 Onyx Lsm 12" subwoofers ( pre RE dilemma). I am looking for someone that has recones that will possibly fit the subs considering Onyx has been closed for almost 10 years! I just dont know what to look for and I dont think I can find specs! Here are the subs! I want to have woven tinsel leads! I am aiming towards SQ/SQL! I also want them to be dual 2 ohm! Im running class A/B amps @ 4 ohms bridged! Hoping for 750-1000 rms handling! Thanks Mike
  5. You can also look at old unmodded or modded Linear Power amps! They arent cheap, but still reasonable, but you get true wattage, and even more with great voltage! I would recommend LP amps before any other company, then a close second is older Zapco! Granted youll still need a processor, but thats SQ! A good front stage setup is Mid/upper Rainbow, Blues, Morel, Image Dynamics! But imaging, is a big factor!
  6. To be honest I worked in an upholstery shop for 2 years and something with as complex of curves and angles you will have almost no luck getting all the wrinkles out! My suggestion to you would be to see if someone can sew a cover out of vinyl, then wrap! I personally would never try to wrap this without trying to sew for the top portion.
  7. Racing, motorcycles, building show cars/trucks, and hanging with my 9 month old son!
  8. You could always put a resonator on the exhaust that would help reduce noise! But if you already have a 3 1/2" exhaust the noice wont change that much! The only thing you need to remember is the crossover piping from one header to the other to run a single turbo! Plus going from twins to a single, youre gonna want to run a larger turbo, so not to lose performance! When you look at everything youre gonna need to do, the one weekend to remove and install the twins is better than spending another 6k on a single turbo swap!
  9. That truck needs a full feature! Little pics dont do it justice, congrats!
  10. This is a must do! Never put up your own money for material no matter how honest someone says they are! Those people can just backout, and now you have material or a finished product taking up space, in which you need to try and sell! All side work must have material list paid before starting the project!
  11. Ive been doing this for years, has helped me build a good customer reputation, and have made some good money at that! Last summer alone I made 3 times my normal hourly wage, working at night and weekends! Just make sure the individuals either sign something stating they are knowingly bringing their vehicle to an unlicensed unbonded individual, and you are not liable for any damage to vehicles or equipment after the job has been finished! Kind of like a contract!
  12. If you do it, dont use that VHT garbage! It looks cheap and flat. The best way to do it is tape off the tail light and spray them with tinted clear coat, then any dirt and such in the clear can be wet sanded out. I did mine that way, and if you tint it properly you can choose your level of darkness! These are my tail lights done that way, look black, but completely transparent when the lights are on!
  13. Well here I go!!! Over the past couple months I have realized a lack of respect and constructive critism from some users to other users on the forum. I know there are people who have been doing car audio for years and years and others who are now just starting their addiction to the field. But why is it that some people will just bash someone for the littlest thing whether its equipment, material, execution in their build? Why cant someone say hey why dont you use this, or with the money you spent you could have bought this instead of this, instead of youre an idiot for building it like that, or way to waste your money dumbass! There is no reason to fucking bash someone because they cant afford 1000's and 1000's of dollars on their install! Everyone on this forum shares the same love of car audio, so why alienate and belittle an individual because they want to share what they have purchased? Try giving people constructive critism instead of acting like a complete douchebag! There is no reason to act like an asshole over the internet, it doesnt make you stronger, it makes you look like a pussy! Anyone can word bash, anyone can claim they do this, they do that, but acting like you are king shit, im sorry, I dont respect you for that. I know new comers and younger crowds will stop viewing the forum and badmouth individuals due to how they were treated. It only takes one person to tell another and the snowball effect will take place, and individuals will stop viewing! I know I dont want that, I know Steve doesnt want that, I know the Mods dont want that either! So why dont people try to grow the fuck up! You can help more with a forum, then alienate every newcomer that comes here! I think it would benefit every person on the forum, to keep moronic and asshole comments and posts to a minimum, it takes away from the topic and doesnt help those who want to learn when you have individuals bickering like 2 year olds. You want to bicker and argue about who's nuts hang lower or who's nuts are bigger, do it through a pm, stop taking away from the OP threads. If the arguement is topic related, then make it informative dont bash each others opinions, validate and share why you choose that equipment, or why you fabricate that way. Use common sense before making an ignorant comment, or making a belittling statement, leave the drama and bullshit at the door, dont bring ignorance and biggotry into the forum, just to make yourself feel better. Forums are for knowledge and sharing ideas and learning better and more efficient ways to fabricate! Leave it at that, PLEASE!! Stop being douchebags, stop being assholes, start helping those who want to learn! This wasnt aimed at certain individuals, it was just a rant about my observations in the 2 years I have been on the forum. END RANT!!!!
  14. They are looking good, keep it up, the more you build, the easier and faster they get! Go out and get a plunge router and jasper circle jig, and then rings start really looking good, I love mine!
  15. There are some blues audio mids and tweeters on ebay, id scoop them up if I could, leading in sq for years!!
  16. The only difference between the Kahr and Glock is the bodies!! The internals are borderline identical! The body on the Glock is stronger but also heavier!
  17. Id go with the 45. I personally have a Kahr 45, and its basically a Glock but for a fraction less in cost! Kahr makes all of Glocks internals, but uses a lighter casing for their own pistols! The gun is very well balanced, easy to shoot, and very little kick back compaired to the Glock! Thats just my 2 cents, considering I own both, an used my Kahr 10 times as much! My fiance also has no problems handling or shooting, if your girl is interested in shooting as well!
  18. Thats the reason why I have been building custom cars for years, the utter happiness that someone gets when they see their vision become reality!
  19. Very nice! Not to keen about the wheels, but they dont look bad! Everything looks great, from design to execution! He will be extremely happy!
