I would like to thank all of the competitors for a great 2011-2012 season. We were at SBN and it was very humbling to see the domination TEAM XS Power experienced. That is because of you..... the competitors. There is no question about it.... Team XS Power has the best members ever!!!! From what I have read and heard it was the same results in Ohio and CA. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, time, and for trusting XS Power to power your systems! We wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for you all!! Just a run down of SBN for those that couldn't make it. Team Nemisis and Team Sundown Audio was a force in the lanes. Almost all of runs on Sunday were filled with Team Nemisis using Sundown and XS Power. There was a lot of Sundown/XS Power v/s Sundown/XS Power crime going on. Thanks guys and keep it up. From what I have heard it sounds like the 2012-2013 season is going to be even stronger!!! Congrats to the entire team for bringing home what has to be a record breaking number of championships and world records for one team at World Finals!!! Pipo Sanchez was standing at the top yet again this year. 3 time back to back to back title runs and this year he was even louder than ever! He won the title again this year and was off of his own world record score by only .1 of a db. It was very evident that Pipo was holding back some when he went from a 159.8 to a 160 in the 2nd round with only 4 seconds to go. Congrats and thanks again to Pipo and his entire team for another great season. Neil Barber and his team put together a BEAST in only 3 weeks. The Bronco is freaking loud and as clear as can be. Great job and the beast looks great. Neil will be going to a lot of shows this year, so if you get the chance make sure and check out his new build. Blake Hunt and his freaking beast was something to experience. Singer and the guys have built a monster and it is hard to believe it is that loud and can still be driven daily with 5 people in it comfortably. New things to come for this build, which should only make it louder. I was able to experience a demo first hand and it was awesome. If you ever get the chance at a show to get a demo just make sure you are ready before you get in! There are many more out there to thank and each one of them are just as important as the next. I wasn't able to sit in every vehicle there that I wanted to, but hope to get a lot more demos next year and through out the season. Again thanks to everyone for everything you have done!!! Here is a list that has started of Team XS Power members and their results for 2011-2012 season. xp2500 or d3400
Nathan @ XSpower replied to jayjay6888's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
XP2500 is a lot larger battery, so it has more reserve capacity. Between the two if you are going to use them as secondary batteries I would go with the XP2500! -
Battery help??
Nathan @ XSpower replied to RAGU408's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
Looks like that year accord came with two different battery options, but the most common was a Group 24 battery. If yours has the group 24 battery (measure to make sure) you could use the D2400 with no issues. I would highly recommend doing the big 3 upgrade. -
ProjectdB Terminals
Nathan @ XSpower replied to 01ExSport's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
Yeah everything gets freaking crazy around SBN time. We sold out of just about everything we had and the biggest wave of customers always comes the week after SBN. Guess everyone watching all the competitors running XS Power winning the majority of classes says something. -
Shelf life?
Nathan @ XSpower replied to Sergeant_Skyrim's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
No way of telling you how long they can keep the voltage up while being stored. The conditions they are being stored in plays a big factor. Usually a fully charged Group 31 battery can last a month or two before dropping into the 12.6V range. Just make sure and watch the voltage to see where it is and when it close to 12.6V put it on an AGM charger. -
ProjectdB Terminals

We use M6 for our SAE posts, so it really depends on how you plan to hook them up. Would be a good idea to give them a call. -
Gone to SBN!

See you in Daytona! Come by the booth and get a poster! -
The stock replacement battery is a Group 24F, which is just like the D2400 with the terminals reversed. All you have to do is extend the battery cables to make the battery work if the terminals are not on the correct side. If you haven't completed the Big3, then this would be the perfect time to do it. As far as the D5100R starting your car. Yes, it would start it with no problem at all.

How big of a system do you have? Are you using the 1200 as a starting battery or only as a secondary battery? What size alternator do you have? When are you seeing your voltage drop? How far does it drop? Short answer is yes you will see a difference in power, but you may not currently have the proper size battery for your system so a little more info is needed to see what you should be running.

D3100 and Arizona Heat
Nathan @ XSpower replied to Smoove's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
As long as you do not overcharge you should be good. The more you can do to shield the heat away from any battery the better it will be. Charging at high voltage in the heat is the #1 way to balloon a battery. Especially if you are playing the system at a show or at idle. The engine heat can not get out of the engine bay and you are basically baking the battery. D and S batteries have a 3 year warranty, but swelling is not covered under warranty. -

Sounds good man. Just let me know. -
Bad xp3000 ?
Nathan @ XSpower replied to NightmareImpala's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
Just give us a call. Could be a casualty of shipping, could have had something happen to it production, or it could have just not got its initial top off charge. Thats why we give a 60 day money back guarantee and an extended warranty on top of that. If it doesn't charge up I would be interested in checking it out myself. -
desulfate batteries
Nathan @ XSpower replied to ALAMO695's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
Follow the directions on the load tester for how to load test the battery. Same settings as always on the charger. Resting voltage out of the car on a new one should sit around 12.9-13.2V.
