  1. You would be the only one to know what you can fit under the hood. The reverse terminal is not a big thing. All you have to do is extend your positive and negative cables. Or just run everything off of your rear battery bank. For daily use a couple D3100 if you want to compete or demo, then at least 3.
  2. Cases stopped coming with the batteries about 2 years ago. They are much cheaper then $50 though.
  3. This is a neighborhood a mile away from the Lucas Oil Raceway, so the bass was rattling the windows more than an NHRA Nitro Car?
  4. Complaint came in from a neighborhood over a mile away!!! Slamology............ got to love it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kV86tg2b_Us&feature=youtu.be
  5. Most just use a Group 34 battery (S3400). Just measure it when you get it and make sure if will fit for you.
  6. my voltage is alot better but it still isnt the best. my alternator is seriously messed up. my voltage never goes under 12 volts but i was hoping for it to never go under 13 but looks like i gotta get a mechman alternator before i plan on buying my highs amp. The only way to stay in the 13+ volt range is to never exceed your alternators output capabilities. For example if you have a 5K watt amp then you would need at least 550amps of alternator power to stay above 12.9v.
  7. Run 1 Run 2 Feels like a punch to the chest standing in the door! Run 3
  8. carona_jeff with his World Record 3 round average of 153.7! Run1 Run 2 Run 3
  9. Thanks to all the competitors and everyone that came to Slamology. Great show and a DOMINATING show for XS Power. More World Records, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes than I could keep up with in IASCA and dB Drag.
  10. As long as the red top isn't old and already wore out you should be good!
  11. 888.497.7693 for the XS Power Office. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/63494-xs-power-contact-info/
  12. You can do that or just get a distro from toolmaker. The distro would have less resistance.
  13. The battery in your picture is a 34/78. The S3400 is a Group 34 battery. Just to make sure you may want to measure your available room and make sure it will fit. If you get the D3400 you will also need a set of 580 posts.
  14. I am not going to say the desulfation mode on chargers is more hype than proven technology, but the desulfation mode on chargers is a lot of hype..........lol You can do the same thing by cycling the battery (charging and loading, charging and loading, charging and loading, ...). The desulfation mode is basically just a pulse charge where it chargers higher than normal in pulses to try to break up the sulfation.
  15. 3400 under the hood and you should be good. You are still going to drop into the 12V range, because a 12V battery will only sit at 12.9V with a load on the battery. Anything over 12.9V is alternator power.
  16. Like said above make sure to plan on battery chargers. If not you will kill that alt in no time.
  17. I would almost guarantee you it is not a bad cell. If it is a bad cell it will not be in the 12V range. If the battery sat for 3 years then it has so much sulfation built up in the battery it has killed a good portion of the lead plates in the battery. If this is the case, then you will not be able to bring it back.
