    I would for sure expect rust under the paint & "wood" trim. Hopefully the rust isn't too severe. Damn that interior needs a cleaning! When you going to try to pull it?

    Show more pics, cool project if it's not too rough. Will it run? How bad's the rust? The Taurus would get better mileage though. Cut the roof rails, black paint it could be cool.

    Don't cut the front springs too much or you'll kill the handling, could mess with the suspension geometry.

    Remove the wheels You'd have to buy something. The fronts you could cut the coils. But that isn't ideal. Don't know about the back though.
