You wont go wrong with the DC and the price damn good for what you get. I have my two running on a JL 1000.1 and they take the power like champs. In a ported box they seem to like about 1 cube including displacements per sub. I have mine tuned about 37hz and ill be damned if they dont pick up low note better than the JL w6 10s that they replaced. As far as specs go you will have to ask rusty but the 300 RMS is BS its more in the 4-500 range.

When I clamp an amp that is rated to do 2400 watts at 1 ohm and am only getting 870 out of it, I think it does matter.
