Z V3 and X8's
nCOMP1337 replied to xXxOuTLaWxXx's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
i could be wrong but i believe the x line at least was pushed back a lot because the build house for many of the parts was destroyed in the japan earthquake -
in terms of matching subs to properly power amps and help with enclosures, i dont see a problem with asking questions but dont come on here and just say tell me what clipping is and such, thats the main problem people have with new members, cause they come on here and expect people to jsut tell them everything, without them making an effort to learn it ive been reading this forum of 1.5 years and i still havent done a proper install, mostly cause of money, and i have had systems before, but never a complete install that ive been able to say i did by myself, but read read read and learn learn learn oh and im a super noob, sorry i cant help with your original question, disclaimer is in sig

Where do you find the tracks to play certain freq.?
nCOMP1337 replied to Winn's topic in Tunez - All things music related
i got mine from pwk's website, its basically the same thing, except the first 4 tracks or so are some songs, the test tones start on like 10 and go up to 80, and i think it has a 1khz tone too -
This is only my 3rd time using Sketch-Up and also my third time designing a Quaterwave T-line. Thought Id make a little vid while I was designing it in Sketch_Up. I know I need to work on a few things and I am still not too versed in the program, but Im learning and having fun with it. Original vid is 9 minutes long almost exactly, however it is being played at 4x speed so that is not so long and boring. Song being played is Loui by Ronald Jenkees. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqNq0EMAcCw Close up images and nfurther info can be found in the t-line thread here

thoughts on this 1/0?
nCOMP1337 replied to RickyFriery97's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
looks alright, the welding cable i use is from trystar, or the coppercableman on ebay, its about $3 per foot, unless i missed it, the welding cable i have has another jacker around the welding cable besides the main outside one, cant remember what its for though, but both seem to be OFC and good deal i know my stuff is plenty flexible, ive seen people say welding cable isnt flexible enough, but mine is alright, and the ability to custom print something on every foot of your cable is a little added bonus -
jsut be happy you have an egr valve, lol i should have one, but when my step dad replaced the engine, i think he cut the wiring for the egr valve, because i know where it is, but there is nothing that can be found that connects to it in my engine, lol i definitely noticed the gas mileage drop as well, i used to drive 60 miles back and forth daily, and i could do it in less than 1/4 tank, now its nearly half a tank i also had my front o2 sensor go out, replaced it with 18 dollar universal, but now my rear o2 is going out and im getting about 10mpg, where i should get about 24 in the city, i used to get 30+ on highway, now i get maybe 20 if im lucky engine runs like a champ though, never an issue minus the gas mileage thing, sat for 3 years never touched, started right up without changing anything, although i went straight for a tune up once it was started, lol

can someone show me...
nCOMP1337 replied to spbfitz's topic in Ground Pounders - Earth Shaking and still Driveable!
i agree, what vehicle is it going into, certain box types require more space, so amount of available space would also help, considering it is for some 8s i dont foresee too large of an area available for a box, but i could be wrong -

Would a Fi SSD 12 be good on 450 watts?
nCOMP1337 replied to Chipper's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
i ran my fi 12 on like 300 watts, sounded good, it was in a larger sealed enclosure, however i personally prefer ported over sealed -
now that i think about it maybe a confusion with dvc 6x9 would just be a 6x9 with a tweeter and one terminal is for the 6x9 and the other is for the tweeter, im not sure, just never seen one ive seen a few dodge stock systems, most car brands use same audio components throughout many vehicles and never seen anything other than basic svc 4 or 8 ohm speakers, like i said could be wrong, just not seen it around here
