  1. Haha damn, I figured finding members close to here would be few and far between. Everyone seems to live in KC.
  2. I luckily get the program for free through my school. Till the day I graduate.
  3. Nowhere near chicago, haha. Pittsburg State University in KS best yet, if I do say so myself.
  4. You have no idea how hard that basket was to make for me, lmfao. Took an hour for that piece. I just need to extend the arms that hold it on. When I figure out how to move freely in 3D space I'll do it. SolidWorks is the program.
  5. Been in my Engineering graphics class in school for about a week now, and I decided I'd like to design a woofer. Of course this thing would probably have awful t/s perameters, but I thought it was pretty good for one of my first 3D projects.
  6. I take my first classes for my electrical engineering degree in about 20 minutes...... fml where did summer go?
  7. It's a piece of metal that you attach your leads to. I mean, I guess the metal makes one better than another, but that's all I can think of.
  8. Missed the "Drunkasses post here" thread! haha!
  9. Just like all the girls nowadays.... Paying to get your rack bigger. Lol
  10. I've fit two level threes behind the seats in mine,9" deep at the bottom and 6" deep at the top. Not the best for leg room. Just finished putting them in a fourth order blow through, and I have bass and leg room.
  11. There is no eta for the level fives. If you ordered 45th then yours will be the 45box made. After all parts are in anyway.
  12. Yeah, yes I do. I have width but what about depth? I'd like to be able to see into the box from the cab without a 18 inch long port. I'm just not too experienced with tuning and help would be awesome.
  13. This is going into a 96 s10, if that matters for tuning, and I'm having trouble gettin 90 sq of port without having a tuning around 43~44 My ported dimensions I'm trying right now are 15x39x22 Any help for port Ray? there is no such thing as too low, the tuning is decided by the thiele small parameters, all subs are different. thats like saying that tuning an 8" below 40 hz is too low. it all depends on the drivers. that being said, i dont know why anyone runs Fi, their T/S specs are so terrible, DC subs are better in EVERY way (t/s wide), and im not a bandwagoneer, i havent even touched a DC sub. Good deal I went with DC then, haha.
  14. I need help with the design process, Rather just what amount of air space in the sealed, and the ported. The only part of the box going into the cab will be the port. I need to know what tuning as well as amount of port volume. I have 39 wide and 15 tall. Length is the truck bed.
  15. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/100755-dc-authorized-dealers-list-and-contact-info/ Start there.
  16. As previously stated Rooting just gives you admin privileges, but flashing custom roms can add a whole new look, feel, and add greater speed to the device. I currently am running Darkslide 4.2 on my Droid X because of how fast it is. I have made my phone to where it will not boot past the M logo a few times, but you can always SBF the phone back to stock and even verizon won't know that it was modded after a complete and full SBF back to stock. Read read read is all I can say to any new inexperienced mod-er. Good luck and god speed! (always look for TBH or team black hat mods, they do some good work)
  17. There was a person at the Topeka Kansas MWSPL event that had to use tie downs on their hood on the way to the event.
  18. Wow, I can't believe there are still people with school still in session. My last day was may 10th and we graduated may 14th.
  19. Your woofer can be against a wall no prob, you're in a different ball game and I have no idea why you're posting here. When I design boxes for vented poles I always just try to keep them as far off as possible, but my truck's box has them 1 1/2" away from the wall.
