you would probobly need 2 320amp alternators and atleast 3 d3100's. dont hold me to this though just a rough estimate Right on the alt count, but I think having more than 3 d3100 will be better to maintain the voltage....well depending on the amp though if I'm not mistaken

And as long you have a thick plexi and screw it very secure, you won't have a problem coming out.

i have a question, if i decide to invert my sub, if i had the magnet like 3-4 inches away from the ceiling, will that cause any problems?

i'd go for the 2 15s since you will have more cone area. but in my experience, 1 18 will be loud enough. even though im selling mine so i can have more funds with my current build in progress. why not get a 18 with 2000 rms?

Well from my understanding IU had on of the first ones so it took a few months. The alt is so much bigger in size compared to the stock one hope i get them under a month because i want to make it to my first car show in june, scraping in mississippi(but not competing, just getting to know some fellow bassheads at the show). i just cant wait to get my hands on the alt.

Very true, I made numerous of measurements to have enough for 2 18s. If it wasn't my daily driver, I would have walled it to save the headaches with the back seat, but I got a kid, unfortunately I need the back seat.
