all setting to flat, DONT use the loud setting, sub level +6 (or whatever yours is) are all 6 of your door speakers powered off your headunit...?

a 5k is a perfect match to a pair of XLs in my opinion if you were doing a single XL id keep your RF T2500BDCP that amp is a beast and i wouldnt even sell it, i love mine Exactly what they said, can run off one all day, so that's going to be my purchase! As for the rockford amp, its definitely nice, however I don't really like how it prioritizes its power more on the lower notes. Sure I love my lows and its mainly what I listen to but when a song with a higher not comes on, I gotta crank my sub level up on my deck. I'm putting it up for sale this weekend on caraudioclassifieds and such, since I don't have enough posts for here yet. im sure youll be happy with it, i have a DC 175.4 and its beast mode, as for the RF, when you set a amps gain and what not, you usually have the sub level on the deck all the way up, then set the gains i have my T2500BDCP on my Single XL 18" @ 2 ohms and doesnt skip a beat on lows or higher notes, and is MUCH louder and cleaner then my AQ2200D i had on it @ .5 ohm

i have one XL 18" in my daily driver on a t2500bdcp, 2007 tahoe this is about my 97 burb

dont wanna do 4 18s, and have already done 4 15, dont really like AQ subs that much either, got a HDC318 sittin in my closet

Alright well as of right now the burban is just sitting, need a battery since i dont even have a starter one for it (threw my D3400 in my tahoe, if you have a D3400 for sale PM me please!) i wanted to do a all out crazy system in it, but i have other things it needs first, more interestd in having it slammed with a clean ass paintjob and interior. so a decent sized clean system has to go along with it equipment i have for it right now is: Headunit: Alpine 9886 Door Speaker amp: DC 175.4 (no mids and highs yet) Electrical: (1) 300amp Iraggi alt (1) D3400 up front (2) D3100 in the back minimum of two runs of 1/0, possibly more (1+/1-) either a mechman AVBM or XS power VCM as for the sub stage, looking to keep power under 4k so thinking of a single 3.5k amp(DC, AQ, SD, etc) what subs would you run on that power, how many, what size? its in a burb so remember there alot of room to play with im open to suggestion, just wanna get some ideas goin! this will be my show truck when all said and done(one day)
