    push in on the cone to see if u hear a crackly popping sound. if u do the coil if screwed, time for a recone. but like the other dudes said put the coils on a meter and git the ohms reading. i just reconed a 18 RE aduio that did the same thing. turned out to be a melted spot in the coils and it had to be reconed.

    could be the deck ground came loose or sum shit. try redoing the ground 1st then if it dont fix it try grounding the rca's

    does it still do the whine if u unhook the rca's from the amp? it if stops then the noise is either coming from the rca's or your drck mite have a bad ground. if your usin a pioneer deck i can almost garuntee that you need to ground the rca's. pioneers seem to be bad for that shit for some reason

    had me a pyramid pb 370g super blue series. 300w max 2 channel bridged to 2ohm running 2 old skool kicker c12s, u no the old fuckers with kicker wrote in gold on the dust cap. shit actually sounded good 17 years ago lol

    teAR THEM OFF BEST U CAN WITH UR FINGER NAILS OR WAT EVER THEN GO TO AUTOZONE AND GIT THIS STUFF CALLED "OOPS" ITS ADHESIVE REMOVER AND THE SHIT WORX GR8 FOR TAKING OFF OLD STICKERS AND DECALS AND STUFF. SOAK THE STUFF ON THE STICKER WITH A RAG AND WORK IT AROUND THE STICKER UNTIL IT LOOSENS THE ADHESIVE UP ENOUGH TO PEEL THE REST OF THE STICKER OFF. AND IT WONT MESS UP YOUR PAINT. JUST WASH IT OFF WITH SOAPY WATER WHEN U GIT THE STICKER OFF
