Really, for a round port? He should be fine with a single 4" port.

I would use one single 4" round port. It would give you around 12sq inch of port. On round ports I use between 9 and 12 sq in of port.

Rockford fosgate t4000 DD Audio M4a Sundown audio 4500 Dc 5k These are some good amps that should work for you. But make sure you have the juice to power these amps.

You can also use expanding foam and some plastic bags to cover the sub.
