Maybe he has some problems fitting the box already, slot ports takes away more internal space than an aeroport, let´s wait for him to jump in here, you always can use PVC tubes, those work awesome and are cheap as hell

4th orders peak around tuning frequency, smaller sealed area allows you to use more power, 2:1 ratio plays a very large range of frequencies, 3:1 ratio is a little bit more peaky but are louder! I dunno about a 18" sub, maybe 2.5 cubic feet on the sealed chamber and 6.25 cubic feet on the port area with 16 SQ of port per cubic it´s what i would do with 2200 watts

Depends on the internal space of the box and xmax also, 9518´s seems to like big port area, i would go with 6-7 cubic feet depending on the power you have, and 2-3 6" aeros IMO, maybe you could use 4 4´s , but 2 4´s is WAY TOO SMALL port area man...

Hey guys, there are tons of things that i know and a lot more that i don´t , i´ve always seen people routing the edges of the box and i know for sure that you can gain some tenths on the termlab by doing this, also, it looks tight IMO hehe , anyways , my question is, how you guys do it without damaging the "razor" (english sucks hehe) of the router with the screws???? i mean, i have to screw the box together before routing the edges so that´s why i´asking!! Maybe the only way it´s by not using screws but you use "staples" (that´s the name) instead?? thanks for the inputs

BP´s peak around tuning frequency when they have a mid size or a kind of small sealed chamber, if you use a big ass sealed chamber it would get louder with small power since it gets more efficient, but at the same time, it would give you a better output on lows, so in other words, a big sealed chamber allows you to tune the front chamber high and still play the lows very nice!! Dwright can correct me if i´m wrong...
