Since no one is answering this I will.... If it were me I would put a fuse at the front batt, one right before the second batt (its over kill but why not be safe??) And then one after your second batt going to the amp Then for grounding you can ground it to the frame, or what I would do is run a second wire from your batt in the front. You would do this to make sure that you have the best ground possible. also if you do end up having a second run of wire to the back I would still put another ground to the frame Hope this helps and I answered everything!

uhh id do the 1200 cuz its a beast amp, puts out aton of power, is small, and is made by aq thats what i would do. and then a decent 10 or 12 in a nice either sealed or ported box OR id go sq for a daily driver and spl for the comp car... but thats just me
