  1. The speakers are Rainbow three ways. The 6.5" midrange is in the upper part of the fiberglassed door pod, the 6.5" mid bass in the lower part of the pod. There is an opening in the original skin of the door panel to fiberglass/strengthen the pack part of the pod. There are openings in the door frame where second skin will cover up. And there is an opening where the stock speaker goes letting air in between the panel and door.
  2. The speakers are moving exactly with the subs. Interested to see if the issue is fixed or reduced when hooked up and playing music. And they move the most when the pass window is open.
  3. Just finished up my pass door panel and put in my Rainbow 3 way setup in the panels. Went to get some supplies and the mids were moving way too much when I had the bass going. Is this from the pressure in the cabin pushing on the front of the cones, air leaks behind the panel, or a combo of both? Any tips to fix this problem? Thanks.
  4. Now you'll never be able to play below 38 hz. May want to reconsider.
  5. I like my Dakota Digital Odyssey meter. Can't go wrong with anything from Dakota Digital, though.
  6. I had one leg of the output side of my PAC LC-1 go out so when it y'd off at my two amps only one amp output power at the speaker terminals.
  7. Alpine have you gained consistently going from almost sealed to completely sealed? And is there any change to the peak frequency? Vehicle dependent? I currently am .3 dB louder with the hatch opened.
  8. I'll take it. PM me PayPal and I'll get you all the shipping info.
  9. I think Micah from Sonus Car Audio said the serial number will have three zeroes at the beginning.
  10. Do door/window open scores tend to differ when inside a building or garage vs outside in the open?
  11. I have an Alpine MRP-m1000. I'll sell it for $150 plus shipping.
  12. Also, what exactly is that part, with the charred look to it?
  13. Hopefully I'll be able to change out my HL70's at Sonus Car Audio when I go up to Clarksville this weekend. Both my AA mids and one of the HL70's are dead, and the other HL70 is scratchy and probably on it's way out. The problem seems to fixed, as far as cutting in and out/going into protect, ever since I unhooked my door speakers. Looks like they were the problem.
  14. Not sure exactly what happened, but the amp still works. Speaker output would randomly cut in and out. Eventually i heard a pop and the amp blew a fuse/went into protect. Changed out to a Rainbow iPaul 4.300 and same thing happened. Unhooked my door speakers from my a-pillar speakers, thinking the door speakers may have been grounding out on the terminals/motor. Now it is running fine, but not before 3 of the 4 speakers were killed. Not getting and reading off of the coils. Anyways could a speaker grounding out do this damage in the pic/to other speakers?
