ahhhhh chea.

So after listening to the XL for a lil while i have come up with this. 1. It has a more rich/ full sound compared to the BTL 2. It picks up lower notes and sounds better doing it but the BTL had more output on the lows. 3. on the higher side i think the BLT was a lil more versatile 4. anywhere in between this the XL killed it lol def is louder than the BTL in this range. I would like to build a new box just to see if there is any difference, id like to build it to specs used by other member and who have seen good results.

nope it really doesnt rattle too much...two layer of second skin in the trunk and 3 on the lid.

if its sealed off usually yes..and 97-03 grand prix's dont have the fold down seats so i took the back piece out.. sorry to my passangers

So last night i was cleaning the car and decided to go ahead and yank the backseat out its noticeably louder. and from what i can "hear" (which doesnt hold much ground) it def louder than the BTL was. But i cant say for sure til she getts hooked up to a TL

if you do the research and know what your doing then go for it...no need to start off with a small system if he doesnt want to lol just make sure you dont get too excited about everything and forget to do curtain things. my advice: Plan ahead.

much appreciated, even though i wanted to strangle someone when i realized i had no way to connect the single leads besides electrical tape lol a 10 min job turned into like an hour running around everywhere getting the shit and what i had didnt work then i magically found some wire nuts lol

ya i agree they are aimed pretty low (which is fine) for your truck..given hes prolly driving around town and not so much open roads where you need to have a lil more distance compensation to see farther ahead. Mine are the same (around town mine are really low) looks good though

I guess now its time to save up for a second Xl and 4500-6000rms or something along those lines lol
