  1. eh i personaly wouldent tune that low, thats just my opinion tho, i would tune around 32-38
  2. cant really be on target unless you have a tl, i suggest not trying to figure out how much your off and tuning from there, see if you can get your hands on a TL for a like a half hour
  3. LOL PWNT! nah you should be fine unless you see peeling or bubbles
  4. lmfao, I TOLD YOU YOUR NOT LOUD! and i think aside from the real TL theres only 1 other accurate spl meter, some shit from russia thats a bit cheaper then the TL
  5. or contact rusty, rob(thorshammar), or the sales email on dcsoundlab.com
  6. your coil prob got ninja burnt lol, in simple terms your coil burnt up and you dident notice, i did the same thing with mine, was playing it one night, then i wake up and go out and one sub had the blown sound to it, shit happens lol
  7. well ya know if you woulda hit up carlisle i heard this shit are carlisle and hooooly shit is it loud, i was parked a good 50 yards from it and MY rearveiw was shaking lmao, its nuts
  8. i thought when voice coils where blown they were sopost to be WAY outta wack like 9-15 ohms?
  9. for the RCA's it depends... is it a 4 channel amp? if so then YES if your going to be running all 4 channels, for the second question, the HPF is a high pass filter, it "passes" out the lower frequinces, the LPF is the oppisite, for the 3rd one, + or power wire, would be the power wire that goes from the amp to the battery, the GRD or - is the ground which goes to a bare metal spot on the car, the system control is the remote wire which runs to the headunit or stereo to turn the amp on or off
  10. yes with a DMM or something that reads ohms, check your grounds tho, cuz the whole ride to carlisle my amp kept cutting out on me, turned out to be when my friend sat a certain way on the seat the metal from the seat hit where it was grounded so it shut my amp off
  11. PSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH hank thinkin hes all loud and shit! hahahahaha kidding, looks great hank, break the windsheild yet? WOAH 1000th post :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
  12. dammmmmmmn thats alota money, lucky
  13. hm, only other option that i can think of besides foaming the shit outta it is rig up some wood from the top of the box to the top of wherever its leaking? if not id say just cut some of the carpet out cleanly, then foam the shit outta it, then when you go to sell it, clean up the foam then go and put that carpet back in? idk i tried
  14. LMAO that is fucking win
  15. damn man looks great! nice score too, but is that a piece of metal between the sub and the box? O.o
  16. the bondo all purpose resin is what i used, i think your hardener might be bad????? i just poked a hole in it with a pin and it was fine, took me a few tries to get it rite so it dident harden to quickly and turn into chunks or not enough so it never dried, i also used the 3M hardener for my second can i bought just to see, same shit really
  17. the smell could just be epoxy or the CA glue burning off, but you can smell warm? lol, and im not sure if that amp can be bridged, i could be wrong tho, try it on just 1 channel no bridging whatso ever and see if the sub still gets hot or not
  18. dc's and sundowns both get just as loud, if not louder, 4 XL's or lvl 5's on a cresendo 3k each, batt for each amp and a 300amp alt youd be deaf
  19. free bj's from grits on your bday  but happy bday
