    that would be sick steve....I use a stinger cigarette meter to monitor overall and the vm-1 goes right into the amp. I would like to have the vm-1 for that also

    im running about 8k on my car with a 270 amp alt (biggest I can get) with less batteries than you mentioned and im fine

    @ray thanks for the reply I actually just figured out my problem..... It REALLY stupid on my part and I knew that would be what the problem was.... I didn't have the rca in all the way on the top of the CC-1. The plastic case was just in the way enough of the rca port that it wasn't letting the harness plug all the way in

    I'm trying to set my x over freq. with the cc-1 on my mids/high and I'm having some problems. I turn the volume up and get a signal. Then I hit read and the top arrow is lit. When I turn the x-over up or down the arrow doesn't move but if I turn the volume up or down it moves. I know I'm doing something wrong I just can't figure out what.

    Hey guys just picked up my dd-1 and had a question. The instructions say to set the head units bass treble ect. to flat. Does this mean to 0 or all the way down as far as it goes? I ask because my head unit goes from 10 to -50 on bass and 8 to -10 on treble. Just wondering if I set all the way neg or just at zero! Thanks for helping on noob question

    I can answer a few of your questions. 1. fusing between alt and battery is not needed but is strongly advised as a saftey precaution. 2. get rid of the battery Isolator it only causes unneeded resistance . how big is your alt? you may want to do 2 runs of 1/0 to the back battery to improve flow
