  1. How is this charger? I really need one for my 2 XS Power cells sitting in my room http://www.braillebattery.com/index.php/products/10_amp_rapid_charger/
  2. Hope this isnt too late XS Power - Enough Said... XS Power - 'Nough Said... XS Power - Moving Electrons Since (Enter Start Date Here) XS Power - Melting Wire Since (Enter Start Date Here) XS Power - Born To Supply XS Power - For Enthusiasts, Buy Electrical Geniuses XS Power - Isn't That Good Enough? XS Power - Stabilizing Volts Since (Enter Start Date Here) XS Power - The Battery is the Limit (Spin off of the sky is the limit)
  3. http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php here is a link to it, it is literally the best program, I use it when I redo windows each year, and recovered my stepfathers hdd that had a the master boot record disappear due to some evil virus, mhmhmhhahahaha, lol
  4. there is a program called gparted that is free and you put it on a disk, then you boot up into, and it can do a 30ish wipe cycle that will write all 0's then all 1's over and over so that it is unrecoverable, and you can do it like 30 times I believe that way no trace is left, depending on the format anyone could easily go and look at the information on you disks
  5. I've tried this before while reversing on an uphill slope and it works great! hmm, never thought about that, lol my parking break is broke anyway, but yeah, just force yourself to drive it everywhere and you'll pick it up soon enough The problem is that my dad's car needs a coolant reservoir so he's driving my car for the time being and I hardly get to drive it. no pics? ha ha
  6. I will take more pictures of the car soon. I took these pictures while my dad and I were waiting for my sister. HURRY your ass up!! ha ha, jk, take your time, you got a good deal on that car, how is the manual treating you? you learn hills yet?
  7. Why not use resistors to achieve the correct ohm load? My plan was to wire 4 - 4ohm speakers into a 1ohm load then use a resistor to bring the resistance up to 2ohms at the amplifier channel. your resistor is going to turn some of that energy into heat, and your wasting precious power
  8. Love that car, I am looking at getting a Mazda3 2006ish, or Mazda Protege5 2002-3, mazda makes sporty stylish fucking awesome cars, if anyone says shit about this car they can go to hell, do it man, how much is the one you are looking at?
  9. thats how you usually do it, the line convertor just usually taps into the speaker wire put the speakers in like normal, and tap in with the line out convertor, they use hardly and power, the voltage going to the speakers will be the same at the amp, and the amperage going to the amp will be very small compared to the speakers
  10. thanks! remember to fuse at both batteries withing 10 inches, for both wires running back, some people get lazy and dont fuse everything rigth
  11. thats a really generic answer, some cars are not unibody and are welded together, and having just a ground spot in the back will cause horrible voltage drops, it all depends on the car, most of the time it is fine, if you are doing a huge build with lots and lots of power then its worth it to tun that negative wire back there, you will not only get steady voltages, but will be better for your amps as they dont have to deal with a shitty ass ground, also you have to have the same size ground wire as the positive wire, so if you use a distro block with lets say 3 8gauge wires coming out, then you need to make sure that you positive going into the amps are 8 gauge, and if that power wire is to small then you need to upgrade both neg and postive to bigger wire, it has to complete a curcuit
  12. Link to Guide that the guide? I made that one
  13. they amp is hooked directly to the battery, so the amp can pull from the battery all the power it needs while the alt charges the battery and supplies current to that amp all at the same time, keeps your volts higher, and gets rid of grounding issues
  14. hope your not saying to put those 500 amps on that wire 0_0
  15. part of what mechman told me is beltslip, I was looking at a 220 amp for a protege5, and he said that is the largest they could do, even that might slip the belt with it, its a 4cyl 2 liter
  16. you really should have double fronts for how much those subs weigh
  17. dont forget that other fuse, here is my guide for doing this, follow it Dereileaks Wiring Guide Link
  18. I got one like that, but it had separate leads for the reading lines, so I ran those to the rear battery, and the power I just tapped into the decks power for the switched ignition power, and the ground, so it turns on with the deck
  19. nope, not at all, that guy must be retarded, all the thicker wire does is reduce resistance, and makes it easier for the power to flow through, especially during high loads where the factory wires would rise in resistance due to more current going through them then designed, some cars do have sensors, like a few Toyota that you have to wire it differently though. I will say though he has some truth but not in his sense of thinking. Factory wiring can handle the loads that they alternator was designed for, so if you are doing more then double the size of wire then the factory, it means you are gonna need a new alt someday, ha ha, but all depends on how big your system is
  20. waiting also, steve are you reading our comments? we just want an update, even if its like, it may be a month or a year or something
  21. this is why amps are fused
  22. alright, my uncle has a Mazda Protege5 2002 with 114k miles, its a yellow hatchback that he is offering for $3500 what you guys think of this car? anyone have one or have any comments on them? would be able to completely pay it off !! and get my mechman, viper 5902 and setup all in there! thats a generic pic, but it looks just like that, I think it looks sweet!! should have room for 2 15's!
  23. you have a short wait, I have to wait to sell my car, then get my new one and start a whole build lol
