Anyone ever run a JL Audio 6W3v3? It's a 4 or 8 ohm 6.5 inch subwoofer... as a matter of fact, has anyone ever run a woofer smaller than an 8? i saw these diminutive woofers at a stereo shop in my area; they are .25 inches smaller than my mids! The box was about the size of a keyboard. It's more of a novelty than anything i suppose (how loud are they realistically gonna get, especially in a little prefab box) but they were cool nonetheless. Anyone run these?

no budget, this is somewhat hypothetical, i already have 3 4 channels as it is, but they are relatively small and underpowered, especially for the number of speakers im running and the power they could handle. the t1000 is real pricy and that dc aint cheap either. you pay for what you get though.

want to run about 100 watts to each of 8 6.5 speakers. so a 4 channel that does around 200 per channel or 400x2 bridged. running at 2 ohms. suggestions?

i got a few lol - after i get my stomach fixed and my grandsons name somewhere, i am taking an extended break more like your running out of space id get my forearms done but my job has rules against it, they'll make me cover it up all year... sucks man

It was real sunny, so my iphone didn't really pick this up the way I wanted it to, but you get the idea. talk about GAP, look at that like 4 inches of clearance between the tire and fender. next up, coilovers.

So, I rotated the tires and sprayed the calipers and the drums in the back. Honestly, they came out fantastic. I was going to stick with black but I did a base coat of silver just to see, and they matched up with the paint so well I decided to go with it. I sprayed two coats, let it dry and then clear coated, all with VHT caliper paint. I did the same process for the rear brakes, but in black. I'll put a picture up with the wheels on there tomorrow. And before anyone starts typing it, I know how to properly mask off the car so there is no overspray. These pics are after most of the stuff was taken off and all the coats were laid.

I tend to agree. However, when stock calipers get all rusty and shitty looking, spraying them with a subtle color like black, silver or grey makes them look brand new and they stay like that.

ok so black it is. i hate the way it looks now though, i gotta cover up this corrosion. the calipers are just bare silver metal now, and the car is silver and the wheels are painted silver (not chrome)... so idk the silver calipers would probably look fine. im going to lay down a base coat of silver then spray over black. that way we can see which is nicer, ill take some pics edit: by the way, the accord has drums on the back and they were oxidized to hell also, i already painted them black and they look fantastic (unless you aren't focusing on them, in which case they blend in perfectly) I did that almost a year ago, no problems, just did a nice tape job and sprayed away

Personally I cannot stand when people spray their stock calipers bright red. I lost count of how many normal looking cars ive seen with little, chipped red paint calipers peeking out behind some ugly ass wheels. That being said, if you have some nice calipers or your car came with sick brakes and you wanna paint them, go right ahead, and do it right with prep, paint and clear. Anyway I have decided to spray the stock calipers on my car because they are very visible through the wheel and they are oxidized quite a bit. I really don't like the look of bare metal oxidizing (who does) so I ordered up some caliper paint. I've got a few choices here, silver or black and then clear on top to make it right. What do you guys think, would silver be too much? Have any of you painted your calipers?
