Will a DC level 3 handle this much power?
fmedina replied to carshateme's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
There is no such thing as "the last buy" in the car audio world. -
If you can keep you voltage about 12.6+ with that amp then it should be fine. But you might need more than 2 batts and your going to have to put your batteries on a charger several times.
-
ya email them and they can tool something for your car probably. one battery will help but wont be enough. dont wanna fry anything
-
a couple of batts in the back and youre going to need a ho alt

What's the specs on that beast? -
More wire = less resistance = more power from the amp etc. Depending on the amp you'd want enough wire to handle the amount of amperage it will pull
-
It has to do with how efficient the amp is. Some require more power to make their rated compared to others.
-
Im giving my oa 15" 1200w. But I built my box for that power and it is taking it nicely. But make sure you set your gains with out clipping or you'll say bye bye to them.
-
Sundown will shit on them. But I have heard they do rated if not close to it with good electrical cuz they are power hungry. I was actually considering trying one of their amps out. So im curious to see what people got to say.

you amp don't come with crossovers? Or get and external one if not.
