  1. theres about 12 inchs but choking the port would only lower the tune i wonder if a bad rca could be the problem i used a cheap rca splitter because the deak only has one rca out for subs

  3. k thx for the help. im not touching the box till the subs break in a bit and ill go from there atleast the port is removable
  4. dont get me wrong it plays lows but it destroys highs and punch bass like a jack hammer it will give you a head ache lol
  5. i may glass some in its only 2500 watts might not need it. ssf is set to 20 ish and hpf is 63

  10. saz-2500 head unit its pioneer 7800 i played with the gains and subwoofer lvl lpf bass boost to see if there was a combination that worked i didn't dd1 yet
  11. there is a extra baffle but i did not include it to keep it simple and removed the .75 from the specs

  13. thats what i used to build it. its tuned to 35hz
  14. i built this box for 4 sa-15's in a yukon the box is 48x34x22 with .75 mdf the port is 14x14x16.5 . subs up port back . The problem is that it sounds like its tuned to 50-60hz .its only hits punch bass or high bass hard for example the highest note in "i put on for my city" non-chopped. Any ideas here kinda confused?

    they say they are a 1000rms as i have had some b4 but they would not take 1000 for long

  19. find a battery plus store they will have lots of options
  20. you can get agm batts that are cheep and better than a yellow top and that sounds like a great first system
