  1. yeah what he said ^^ if he doesnt wanna get rid of the kicker..then get 2 more kickers and build one big box.. would sound much better then mix matching subs and not having the right cubic feet for those 12s
  2. i dont think it has anything to do with tuning, but i think inverting it gives more cubic feet inside the box if space is limited, which i guess it could have something to do with tuning.
  3. why dont you guys just call DC and ask them...
  4. im a slave at a hard wood floor company, lol but other then that i like playing games, hanging with friends, doing body work and custom shit to my blazer, i love hooking up sound systems!!!!
  5. i like 32, it hits the low lows, and yoou can still get some decent high notes outta it.
  6. heres a box my friends build for his vw jetta.. its a mini/half wall.. subs up port foward..i like the look of them that way if you wanted something different..
  7. Thanks alot for your input guys, i really apreciate it. im going to do a little more research before i order a new gun.
  8. do I need to point out the irony? yes your running kicker l7's one of the most delicate subs I have ever owned and rated a wimpy 1000rms lmao i knew you were going to say that. and i bought them back in 08 when i didnt know much about car audio.. nothing i can do now.. i should have a dc lvl 6 this summer though
  9. or you could do subs up, port foward in the middle.
  10. i like subs that can take a brutal ass beating.. JL subs cannot take a beating.. unless you wanna run a wimpy 1k rms LOL
  11. thanks, i just checked sata out, they look top of the line but yeah they are quite expensive lol. i dont wanna spend too much.. looking for a decent price that will paint a car good.
  12. My dads spray gun that came with his air compressor is GARBAGE... we used it to primer my blazer, and it worked good the first time.. but when it came time to the 2nd coat the gun just failed.. its cheap.. anyways, i am going to buy a nice spray gun..what kind of gun / brand should i get? send me a link of a website if possible, i just need a good spray gun that will give me top results..
  13. i agree with everyone.. option 2.. should be a louder setup than option 1..
  14. double check everything.. even the wires going from the subs to your amp.. maybe those are loose? or one came out? it also could be bad RCAs.. try different RCAs once.
  15. build your own box or get a custom one made. it will sound much better. dont go with JL please LOL
  16. I would double check your ground wire. make sure its a good connection, and make sure its nice and tight.. also you should always sand down the ground spot before you attach your wires so that way you get the best connection possible.
