    It can round edges and cut holes if you have a circle jig. You don't NEED to do anything to the inside of the box, be it paint or otherwise. But if you are looking to squeeze numbers out of your setup then its worth it.

    I heard lining up the motor and basket can be a real bitch. If it is even slightly off the coil will rub. Might be better off selling the 15 and buying an 18.

    There are some on ebay for a buck or two a peice. You could get a bunch for the same cost of that stinger and just keep replacing them if they fail.

    No shops. It you can use a wrench and a screwdriver you are capable of installing car audio.

    12-16 square inches per cubic feet is the normal. How many cubes is your box after displacement? Take that number and multiply it by both 12 and 16. That gives you the range you are shooting for.

    Pioneer has some doubles with detachable faces. like the link above? thats the only double ive seen in any way detachable Didnt see that. Actually yes, thats the one im thinking of. I have two friends that run it. Its a real nice unit.
