Well I'm looking at redoing my mids/high set up. I already have speaker wire ran left in from previous owner. So my question is, can I use a jumper wire at the crossover to power the tweet or should I run more wire to each crossover? I'm looking at running a T5002 power amp and I need to run 3 sets of components. Will the crossovers still let me run the single 4 ohm wired together for an impedance of 1.34? Sorry if this doesnt make sense I will double check when I wake up. Thanks a ton. Dan.

That's how I am running and when I reconed I bought D2s again cuz I plan on strapping at 1 ohm when I get another amp I've been like that since October or November with no problems and I didn't have a high output alt yet either just had to keep it reved up. I dunno the power you'd get a half it will vary depending on set up

Thats true it is unfair, motorcycles are what bother me the most, dont get me wrong I love motorcycles and the way they sound but they can be wrapping up the motors and flying by and never get looked at, hell when I ride my buddys rocket I meet cops at 75 80 and they dont even look but I'll do 64 in my truck and get pulled over, its like bikes are above the law, no need for helmet but its 120$ fine for no seat belt just shit like that

Just pay it, it will be way cheaper than a lawyer, and its not a moving violation so it shouldnt affect insurance in anyway.

Stinger is made by oddesy I believe also the same as xs IIRC so my choice would be the stinger I also run stinger batts and I'm happy with them, this is what I was told from the local shop when I bought my batteries so I don't know how accurate that info is

I should try this with my carbon fiber dust caps! I'd probably come out in a lil worse shape tho lol. Make sure you get it on video of blowing them up! Also Are you switching subs?

try your plugs wires and cap first. Do you know if they ever been changed

No check engine light? does it mis fire? I would check out your O2 sensors, maybe give it a tune up new plugs wires and distributer (sp?) cap. maybe fuel filter too.

I dont have a problem calling and getting prices and I've also been quoted different from different reps its just the way it works, lots of ppl still buy their products! I just talked to Rob (I think) today and ordered my recones, answered all of my questions plus more (Thanks a lot)! I should have my recones mid next week.

Talked to Rusty today, said their finished but not to the shop yet! Putting my order in tomorrow or Friday just waiting for his PM on the amount!!

Does anyone know how good the selenium mids and super tweets are in a car application? I see more and more people using them, and for the price thats pretty good. Should I use two super tweets in the front or four? I think I set my mind to those depending on opinions from people who have used them.

Have him re scope it than just to be safe. Your settings could clip when his didnt, there are so many variables to consider

I recently bought a vehicle from a buddy because he wanted to get out of the payments cuz he lost his job and he had a decent size stereo in there but took it out cuz I had my own stuff to put in there. I got it home started installing the cd player and went to hook up the speakers and mine dont fit in the custom door pods he had made. My speakers are about due for replacement anyway, but I dont know if I wanna cut the pods up at all. I have 5.25 could possibly get to 5.5 cut out to work with and need 3 sets of speakers, perferably 2 components up front and 1 set of coax in the rear doors. He has Boston Pro60's up front and thats what the door pods fit but I want more mid bass. So do you think I should go with these http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-422 and 2 super tweets on the A pillars? Or find some components that fit the hole, I have 2 18s on 4kw+ that will be goin in there. The vehicle is an 03 denali if that matters. Thanks, Dan

The only reason I run half ohm is cuz I have 2 dual 2 ohm subs so I can run two ohm when I get another amp and strap them! But make sure electrical is beefed up and yes it does void the warranty
