  1. Nice can't wait to hear it.... maybe we can bassboxat autorama bro if your down... I'm not sure if your in the same class as me..but that would be epic... ill give it my all full tilt 3 30sec runs back to back.... lol..... :-) definetely want a demo.... super nice build also.. hats off to you
  2. There will be plenty of vids in 2 weeks...and attempted hair tricks... steve makes it look easy in his tahoe but its not.. loading from the cargo area is a whole different ballgame than a wall at b-pillar...
  3. It was clipping issue I had jeff... I Use to blow subs on music...and only once on a burp... you remember the amp issue I had
  4. Pac 1 or david navone rca knob.... and why can't you get the ohm load you want by strapping
  5. 4300 watts a xl.... I'm not so sure... I have extensive knowledge on the old xl... I did things to them that rusty has never seen.. burnt through formers, dimpled them. Snapped coils etc and he redesigned them to make them better...the m2s are a lot stronger an a lot better kooling that was a major issue I had was kooling.but I also found the limitations of the old xl... I think the extra motor force of the 5 is what I need.... who knows though.. after corona jeff puts his ab 1100s on his ill know a lil more
  6. From what I'm seeing with everyone running the new m2s... I want to do a straight drop in swap....with some xl m2s.... but I think some lvl 5 31/2in coils sounds better...... come on rusty I know there's some prototypes...without a doubt I think running dc subs I can be louder....
  7. Love the fonz...bet have the people on here don't know who he is...maybe through re runs
  8. Aq will be fine at .5.. watch voltage drop.put a stinger meter right on amp inputs........
  9. That's the problem I lose over a .5 a db from 37 to 38 hz... an it keeps getting worse the more I. Move from my peak.... like I said here's a trick put mike on drivers seat open passenger door... sweep for your peak again it mite be lower
  10. The deadening could of lowered your peak freq... how are you metering? Stand. On what seat? I do stand on driver seat passenger door open... an how do you know what your peak is
  11. Fluke is best not sure on model.... most others that have peak hold actually don't..once they get any reading they lock up and don't read again...also get true rms ..I found the others only read 60hz which is a/c amperages freq.. goodluck
  12. happy birthday king of many bassheads worldwide....
  13. Id run it 12v with the electrical to support 500 amps... at least a 270amp alt and 3 or more 3100s.... charge them at 15v..and wire the amp to .7...an there aren't any m2s lvl5s yet.. id do m2xls or m2lvl4s
  14. Rusty your a beast giving out those 159 demos...... ill sit in there with earplugs lol... my lil 155 hurts so I know 59 will make me def
  15. Check with dd on the m4s maximum operating voltage before you do 16v..I know m series are sesigned for 12v... when I ran 14 to15v they ran warm at 13 14v they were cold ....plus new m4as protect at 15.3 I never got m4 to protect from voltage but high voltage is bad for electronics for daily..it turns to heat sir
  16. Ac voltage out of pos speaker and neg speaker and ac amperage around positive I usually burp my system at peak freq...then calculate in 70% efficiency
  17. N8 I think we just gave out our ages... I know I'm old lol.....that was back in the 90s when soundstream was based out of folsom ca.. I use to drive to there door and get replacement tweeters from them..those were the good days..the accuvolt or accumatch... would allow the amp to see a certain ohm load constantly regardles of vc configuration... google it my friend
  18. There use to be a device called accumatch by stinger I think that allowed you to do that... pretty sure it was limited on how much power you could use though...
  19. Took me 6weeks to get mine an countless phone calls saying they shipped it.. its a great piece..hopefully there a lil faster
  20. More port.....means more output.... watever you do I know will slam....be nice to see you lower the box an invert subs :-) I doubt you still would have enough clearance
