Get the design made or make it either with paper or as a stick then stick it to dynamat then cut the dynamat out in the outline. Just stick the dynamat on the box put the carpet on and your good to go just make sure the dynamat isn't wrinkled or creased because you will see it.

Metra makes a kit for it you have to trim at the top at least that's how I always do them but it's not major should be pretty quick and easy.

This doesn't mean I don't think brands like DC Ia Sundown aren't good or better. .
