i currently have a Mechman 220a alt, d3400, and a d1200. on dc's website, they recommend 2 alts. but thats kinda out of the question for me. i was thinking a total of 3 d3400's and the d1200, or sell the d1200 and a 4th d34 or just stick with 3? and ill also be using a sundown 120.4 for mids and highs so i guess 4 d3400 would be better? any input would help. thanks

I have my port facing my cab sealed off from the trunk so I don't have to worry about the trunk noise.You just have to test it, and adjust from there. You could always get more deadener

I got the 80 mil 36.5 sq ft and 20 sq ft packsAnd I have an 86 Monte Carlo, I don't have it on yet but these old cars have a lot of metal real estate and mines just a 2 door. So hopefully it'll be enough for my entire floor, roof and doors. Might have to get some more though

soo you think a sundown 125.4 will be good? and how would i wire them to the amp? wouldnt i have to put 2 sets on 1 ch. for 2 ohms? sorry im half retarded when it comes to this shit

I've been reading up on active and passive setups, I got mostly that with active you get more options to tweak your setting or whatever versus passive using crossovers you're limited and doesn't sound as clean? So what do I need to do to run active? Now, I'm wanting to run 3 sets total 1 in each door (2dr coupe) And 1 set in the back 1 6.5 and 1 tweeter on each side Like this: I'm thinking I need a 4 ch. amp? I was thinking either dc 175.4 or sundown 200.4 Thanks for any input, I'm a complete noob when it comes to front stage

How much power so you have running to them?On woofersect, It says 60w per side, so is it saying its 120w per set?

I think I want to go with sundown for my entire front stage. I'm thinking about going with the neo pros because they can handle more power than the components. I noticed that sundown is coming out with new products, so are tweeters on the list somewhere? Thanks
