Depends on parts availability -- many MOSFETs are in very short supply right now. If all the parts are in stock he usually does less than a week.

Some of our guys in Russia jumped up about 1 dB on their low frequency peaks from the 12-spoke to the "Hi-X" Z v.3 12" woofers purely from the additional travel -- we'll gain about that much again on top of that from the "Hi-X" model to our tooled frame... maybe another full dB for the low peaking guys I have seen some setups peaking in the 50s that are completely maxing out a 12-spoke from and our surrounds on throw in bass boxing classes... now imagine nearly doubling the throw available. Scores should shoot up a bit !

I expect the frame molds to be completed around the 15th -- so hopefully samples of the real thing by months end

They are hanging out in customs still -- it is quite possible we'll have them first few days of next week. When I get any further word will update.

Once production wraps up and they are on the water I will open ordering. Being a completely new product it'll be a bit past the original 90-days from production start to arrival; but I don't expect a huge amount longer.

Sealing up the SA-8 v.2 is really not a good move for them -- the motor is far too powerful for sealed. I am working on a new model, SD-2 8, that will do very well sealed.

Many people also have odd e-mails which may get typed in wrong and/or they get rejected by spam filters; happens all the time.

The Z v.2 does not accept a Z v.3 coil -- you can use the cone, spider, and surround, though.

They will be more expensive than a LVL-3 for sure. They will not be at all like the prototypes I did in 2010.
