  3. buddy of mine sprayed his with truck bed liner ... i think rear windows can have 100% tint just not front windows and windsheild
  4. birch is pretty light !! and if you want to go light i would try maybe 1/2 birch and a layer of woven glass mat, other than that good job on the box ! i always like seeing people try different things !! if it works great for us cuz we can learn ... if it fails ... good for us cuz we learned !!
  5. shits fucked up i hate that .... time to go troll the comments
  6. looks cool would love to har what it sounds like !
  7. kindle fire 199 :-) or i was looking at the asus ee pad transformer 399
  8. He mentioned Sound deadener in the first post... Alpha Damp is thicker so thats what i would go with for your doors. Also you should look into Spectrum. It does the same thing i think but can get into places that Damp cant. just my 2 cents. alpha damp is not thicker ... their picture does a horrible job with the zoom and making it look like that haha it has the thickness in between damp and damp pro but alpha damp DOES have a wonderfully thick foil backing making it wonderful for flex and adding more rigidity to the metal for flex !
  9. i used both damp pro and alpha and i would say for flex i would use alpha damp because of the super thick and strong constraining layer on it
  10. i would say first find out what the rattle is!! i had a terrible rattle once and turned out to be a loose rivet on window motor !! find the rattle and figure out what the rattle is first before you spend money when you don't need !
  11. its a great start !!! keep up the great work keep reading keep learning and never let anyone put you down and keep working to be better and louder !!! :clapping:
  12. Your saying that means you missed the point of my post, and so did jon as it seems. oh well, ill carry on misunderstood and y'all carry on selling stuff that doesn't do a bit of good for half the target audience of this forum. Note the gfaphs had huge spikes down low, where most of us want deadening to begin with. this test showed the results of 100% coverage vs 25% coverage ... obviously for those who are in the extreme situations they will use ACTUAL deadner AND do 100% coverage on a roof for example and possibly 2 layers or have the layers overlap a bit which im sure will give MUCH better results over the 25% coverage that was shown !!!!!!!! great test jon
  13. can you show 100% coverage of cdl to show 100% PnS vs 100% CDL edit: not reading 3rd page fail >.<
  14. at least stop talking to him about car audio ... would go that far as to not talk in general ! HAHA
  15. no way that amp can be a 2 channel and be 1 ohm stereo capable. i mean, it COULD be, but what are the chances. but to the OP, even if you could do that, 1500w would fry the living shit out of that level 3. wasn't really going off his specs just giving an example of how bridged worked and how you should run one coil of one channel and the other coil off the other channel if you had the option to do so
  16. bridged gives the the power off both channels so 750x2 = 1500x1 bridged and you only use one signal to the subs instead of 2 which would not be 100% in sync with one another causing problems ... thats my take on it could be wrong tho :-/
  17. i will be running 2 dc lvl4s and will be using 10ga wire ... nothing wrong with bigger wire haha i would go with 12ga for your setup imo !!
  18. This is your ONE and only warning...Dont EVER pull any race card like taht again... love seeing mods do a good job !!
