get a metal sheet sign like some people use for "for sale" set it up on a stand get a metal ball able to drop from a certain height get a 4x4 inch square of each deadener put in the center of the sign and drop the ball with a db meter at one spot and measure the sound difference ! or even better get a small gong ... something designed to vibrate and make sound ! then to test constraining layer get a 1x4 inch piece and put on stand then add square weights until it buckles in and falls off stand !!! i will do this test with out any bias if people would like ? just need to start getting some deadener pieces! i think this would be a good testing method ?

Would I use both like epoxy resin as the base and then gelcoat for the top layers to show color ?? And how many layers would be best I plan on making mdf template and then flush cut the carbon on router table I was thinking 1 or 2 mm thick

ok so i what to make some brake dust shields for my wheels on my car that will fill on the whole rim like this and i was going to use some red carbon/kevlar mat to match the red carbon/kevlar dust cap of my dc subs and was wondering what type of resin i use how many layers best way to lay it and how to polish to a gloss finish !! any and all help would be wonderful !!! behind my wheels its not that good looking and im sure that this would make it look really nice with my white rims over them !!!

i think ill go with the kasa for mids/high and the kolossus for the subwoofers its cheaper than the kasa but prolly end up using all kasa so it matches .. my ocd will kick in haha
