  1. need to plug 4 18" sub cutouts. baffles are 4 layers thick. re-doing baffles is not an option. have a good idea of how to do it already, just wanted to get some more ideas before i actually jump into it. was thinking 2-3 cutouts that fit snug into the holes and one over top that would overlap the baffle on the front. cutouts would be glassed and bolted down from inside. outside layer would be rounded over on the edges glassed bolted down as well. throw me some more ideas please? Thanks.
  2. I posted this before in someones thread but figured it'd be useful to a lot of people. Possibly pin it up? Had someone mention a few songs were off but this would be a good reference. Obviously you'd want to check the song before you pull into the lanes and play it. Constant bass lines should all go at least 30 seconds. list was jacked from shane off of mwspl 27 Hz: Insane Clown Posse - Tales from the Lotus Pod - "Mah Jeh Mah" (at 2:23) 31 Hz: The Dream - "Luv your Girl" (at 0:23) 32 Hz: Lil Wyte - Phinally Phamous - "Bald Head Hoez" (at 0:28) 36 Hz: DJ UNK - Beatin Down Ya Block - "Back It Up" (at 0:26) 36 Hz: Gorrila Zoe - Welcome to the Zoo - "Juice Box" (at 0:13) 36 and 42 Hz: Gorilla Zoe - Welcome to the Zoo - "Money Man" (at 0:13) 36 Hz: Liquid Tension Experiment - Liquid Tension Experiment 2 - "Chewbacca" (at 5:45) 37 Hz: Gucci Mane - The State vs. Radric Davis - "I Think I Love Her" (at 0:02) 37 Hz: Lil Wyte - Doubt Me Now - "Get High To This" (at 0:29) 37 Hz: Lil Wyte - Doubt Me Now - "We Ain't Playin" (at 0:00) 37 Hz: Lil Wyte - Doubt Me Now - "Zero Tolerance" (at 0:04) 37 and 48 Hz: Lil Wyte - Phinally Phamous - "Possie Song" 38 Hz: USDA - "Go Getta Remix" (at 0:22) *39 Hz: Bass 305 - Best of Bass 305 - "Look Aggressively to the Future" (at 0:11) 39 and 47 Hz: Gucci Mane - Great Brrrritain (mixtape) - "N.e.R.D." 39 Hz: Three 6 Mafia - Most Known Hits - "Slob On My Knob" *39 Hz: Young Jeezy - The Recession - "Welcome Back" (at 0:05) *39 Hz: Yung Joc - The Grind Flu (mixtape) - "Make a Movie" (28 secs at 0:20) 40-45 Hz: Lil Wyte - Doubt Me Now - "Doubt Me Now" (at 0:28) 40-45 Hz: Lil Wyte - Phinally Phamous - "Big Arse Guns" (at 0:05) *41 Hz: Blue Man Group - Audio - "Endless Column" (at 2:21) 41 Hz: Hurricane Chris - 51/50 Ratchet - "Hand Clap" (loop first 15 secs) 41 Hz: Insane Clown Posse - The Tempest - "News at 6 O'Clock" (at 1:45) 41 Hz: Liquid Tension Experiment - Liquid Tension Experiment 2 - "Another Dimension" (at 0:00) *41 Hz: Young Jeezy - Thug Motivation 101 - "Air Forces" (at 0:25) *41 Hz: Young Jeezy - Thug Motivation 101 - "Thug Motivation 101" (at 0:26) 41 Hz: Young Jeezy - Thug Motivation 101 - "Trap or Die" (at 1:33) 42 Hz - Bun B - Trill - "Bun" (at 0:25) 42 Hz: Flo Rida - "Sugar" (at 0:19) *42 Hz: Lil Jon - Kings of Crunk - "Push That" (at 0:24) 43 Hz: Lil Boosie - Gangsta Musik - "Swerve" (at 0:12) 43-52 Hz: Ludacris - Red Light District - "Number One Spot" (at 0:17) 43 Hz: Skream - Skream! - "Kut-off" (at 1:18) *43 Hz: Young Jeezy - The Recession - "What They Want" (at 0:00) 44 Hz: Hurricane Chris - 51/50 Ratchet - "A Bay Bay" (at 2:17) 44 Hz: Lil Jon - Crunk Juice - "Get Crunk" (at 1:50) 44 Hz: Project Pat - Ghetty Green - "Break Da Law" (at 0:13) 45 Hz: Lil Wyte - Doubt Me Now - "In The Streets" (at 0:26) 45 Hz: Lil Wyte - Doubt Me Now - "Ten Toes Tall" (at 0:26) 46 Hz: Lloyd Banks - "Beamer, Benz , or Bentley" (at 2:11) *47 Hz: Gucci Mane - The Burrprint - "Foreign" (at 0:00) 47-53 Hz: Lil Jon - Kings of Crunk - "Butch" (at 0:25) 47-53 Hz: Project Pat - Ghetty Green - "We Gonna Rumble" (at 0:39) 47 Hz: Skream - Watch The Ride - "Unknown Suspect" (at 0:02, gap @ 0:26) 49 Hz: Andale ft. 4. if you're not hitting 120 plus with what you have you're REALLY doing something wrong lol.
  5. if i ever need more wiring this is what im going with. if they still have it for the price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/KICKER-2009-09-PWG050-1-0-AWG-GAUGE-50-FT-FEET-GRAY-POWER-WIRE-CABLE-09PWG050-/360417977573?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53ea95e4e5 http://www.ebay.com/itm/KICKER-09-PWB050-CAR-AUDIO-1-0-AWG-GAUGE-1-0AWG-50FT-50-FEET-FT-BLUE-POWER-WIRE-/390376734491?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5ae4443f1b more expensive but you have to remember car audio 1/0 is oversized compared to welding 1/0
  6. i use mine to control my music in my car. kinda shit rigged but works well. tango remote app, plug the ipod in through the headunit. links the two together through bluetooth and you can control the ipod with the ipad
  7. please do, i'm debating whether or not to strap my amps
  8. good lookin doors! i used these for my kicks to cover my neo 8s. http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/grills-for-speakers/madisound-8-speaker-grill/
  9. i wouldn't do it. not worth the trouble just to save a few bucks imo. for some reason i don't think they'd sound too great.
  10. 1. if you drain your batteries yes. 2. positive front to positive back, make sure to fuse this. negative front to negative back if you have enough wire, if not ground in the back from the back battery. 3. i'd get a second battery for the back first then switch the front bat when possible. 4. fuse size is dependent on wire. not sure what cadence wire is like.
  11. can't remember my exact numbers put clamped it at around 350-400 per channel. wired to 1 ohm rising to around 3. voltage high 14.8 or so. this was when i had it on my nightshades. thing is i forgot i had my hpf on my headunit at 63hz lol. sure we could have gotten more out of it.
  12. was waitin for you to see this. for some reason i think clamshells and my brain automatically link it to you and your clam ahah
  13. not sure bout all the wire. maybe he was just in a hurry to get em in. usually hes pretty picky bout that kinda stuff. thanks for watchin guys
  14. so my buddy built a clamshell in his hhr. Eric B, think he's a mod on here actually but usually doesn't get on often i think. baller. hooked up to my 4 3500s. gains low. no break in, no tuning, sides are completely open. it's loud. plays everything like a beast. highs are already getting into a bit of choking. also does 22/23 hz no subsonic full tilt. this things gonna be a monster subs are maybe at 50% xmax at most...at 22 hz. quick pic of the build
  15. i would have just added onto the ground instead of replacing it. re-check all your new connections?
