when i was a kid my dad worked for a high end home audio store, and he always used to laugh about selling bose brand to people. in his opinion, bose used low quality drivers in well designed enclosures. i don't know if it's the truth, but it has always been something that has stuck with me. Your dad is correct! And for the normal yeppy "no offence to the bose owners" it fits what they need perfectly. Some people do buy them because there small and hide away, but its set in most peoples mind bose is top dollar stuff. Take two towers from B&W or seas (those are entry lvl companies around the same price range) with a denon amp/pre amp and it will merc bose.

But i plan on redoing his doors also and those have 8s in them also so its going to get set up with a three way useing the holes in the rear as the mids then two front as the woofers. So sub stage will do 0-60hz, front doors will do 55-1500 then so forth. Thats sorta the plan right now.. Seems as if it will work very well but i have no idea

Im sittin here bored and i have a few pictures of a 8inch tc sounds epic build i did for my dad. Nothin to crazy. The box is tuned to 31ish hz and around 1cubic foot before displacments. Baffle is 1.5inches thick.. The amp powering this is a rf prime 500 ran to 4ohms. Here are some pictures of it. The box was sprayed with clear to seal it and thats about it. It turned out dead square and pretty smooth as were in the pictures it doesnt seem so. Sorry i didnt take any pictures after i put it in, but it went into a 2002 dodge 2500

I have glasspacks on my 3.1 still with the cat and all that good stuff so not getto sounding, mine is the 30inch long one "longer they are the softer it sounds" and it sounds pretty good actully. Thats the way id go on a jeep just because it was 15$ and if you go 4x4in and smash the damn thing on a rock.. There cheap who cares. Just my 2cents on it

I got it!! Audioaddict thats for the help! I did wrinkle a corner of it while being pissed off but the tint is so dark it isnt visible at least not at night, but when i get more money i will redo it. Other then the wrinkle it came out perfect! Looks pro Tomaro ill give the windows a shot!

Im trying to tint my sunroof, 2.5% and i can not get it not to crease.. Its sort of a bowl shape. When i get one crease out another pops up and its pissin me off. Ill post a picture in a sec. Thank you!

I have a little rattle from the back nothing to bad tho. Only thing i have used is spray foam. Again tho im firing forward.
