  1. Why would they say IPOD's were banned in the 1st place. That is Stupid IMO
  2. SHOOT, 400 is NOTHING :hairtrick: . I bought my 2005 Altima brand new, I was 24 at the time, and full coverage cost me 485 a month. Finally went down to a reasonable amount in 2007.
  3. Hey guys, I talked to Mechman yesterday. My alt was tested @ 150+ amps by 800 rpm and 300+ @ 2,200 rpms. I was instructed to rip out my MLA and install this alternator with adjustable voltage regulator, ( that is my adjustable MLA in this case.) This alt does full power @ 2,200 rmps
  4. What goes around comes around. These people are probably in jail by now for other crimes.
  5. Yep. You can only do so much to prevent a theft. Don't blast your system, no stickers and keep it covered up. If they really want it, they can bring a tow truck, thats why IF you can get extra stereo insurance, it is a good idea. Although the maximum I have seen is $ 5,000 in coverage.
  6. Mechman said they tried these alts on different model CRX's (1990,1991) and they worked without a problem. He was not sure if the belts would have alot of slippage, but no major problems up to this point. Obviously, my 1999 Acura Integra has a stronger motor, and a slightly bigger belt, so that should help. This was the best solution for my charging issue, and the flat out biggest alternator that I can fit. Also, I picked up the external regulator that will allow me to turn up or down the charging volts of the alternator to my current needs.
