Yes Sir..... Its funny how fellow competitors jumped on to another potential fellow competitor who might be in our class.

I only ask what spl comp. because each organization has different rules in which you need to stay in as far as classes. if you went up against a guy with 3 12's it sounds like db drag but, with only six cars it is hard to say. Either way bro definitely try some different things.

First and foremost man congratulations on your first competition. Your score is very decent and respectful for your first time out and not pushing over 1000watts actual power. Now for your attempt of gaining 3db is not impossible but, may take a lot of testing and trial and error before it will actually come about without adding more power. However, adding power by batteries or by amplifiers will easily get you your 3db gain. Now for design for your acura you could probably try the CRX style box to gain the db's but, your going to lose sound quality. Meaning you'll have a burp only box and not a daily driver. What spl competition did you compete in? ***this thread probably should be in competition corner to get more ideas***

You know what I like about the whole paint job situation, is that you could of just of easily of just said fix the problem and been done with it. But, you went out and made it your own like you've done in everything else you've layed your hands on. Not only repainted but custom paint at that. It's like you got a flat on your 24's and saying aww Fuck the 24" tire put some 26's on the bitch instead, oh wait didn't you do that too? At this point for you not to have done anything short of what you've done would of been out of character.

WOW NO ONE WANNA HELP A BROTHA OUT?????? I'll try. What are you really trying to do hear? Just set off alarms, get tickets and piss off old people? If so, cool to each its own. What are you willing to sacrfice? A good size box can easily set off some alarms and get pretty nasty loud. An under seat box for Silverados sound good but, can never get you the output your looking for. Are youwilling to lose the back seat? If so the skys the limit if not, then back to the drawing board and better get ready to spend some money.

Well it is coming up to the end of March of 2010 and I have not been to one show this year. That is nothing to brag about for someone who calls himself an active competitor. However, I am not just a competitor I am like Mr. Meade a Die Hard Car Audio Fanatic. I enjoy going to shows to hang out, check out systems and interact with other folks that enjoy Car Audio as much as I do. If you don't compete doesn't mean you are not into Car Audio just enjoy it on a different bases which I respect. However, there is a lot of you who are "online" from this and other forums who are enthusiasts and we may need your help. Car Audio Shops are still the first recognized public outlet for a lot of the industries products i.e. Rockford Fosgate, Alpine, Kenwood and so on. All these products are main stream they are also the products that are well known to a lot of consumers in the community. Some shops may carry even other not so reputable names but, they are still car audio products of the industry good or bad. Point being if your reading this you may as well car yourself a member of car audio community. Having taking on that obligation I ask for your help. ATTENDANCE IS NEEDED AT EVERY SHOW IN YOUR AREA. Now don't make a day of it and don't drive more than an hour to go to a show just to attend. I only ask this to try to kick start a new spirit of attendees. 1-2 out of 10 attendees might actually try to compete and maybe half would go to another event. In the eyes of the shop hosting it looks like potential customers, to us competitors future potential competitors and for everyone an ACTIVE member of the car audio community. Now don't get me wrong the shows can sometimes get competitive considering the $$$ and time some of us has put into our systems but, nevertheless it is still a competition. Outside of the judging lanes we normally find time to chop it up. So please pass on the word and come out to support a show in your area if you can.... Moving on to the actual competition scene. I really hope there is an increase in the amount of shows at least one a month and hopefully a decent turn out at that. However, it would be nice to get more new faces out. I know autorama brought out some new folks and some old but, that would be nice if we can expect that for at least one show a month. That may be asking much but, this site has proven that there are a lot of fanatics still out there. I only hope these fanatics are willing to show there support in person and not just from behind a screen name. I really enjoy meeting the online people and putting a face to their screen name. As a team we've met and discussed some ideas and are putting our heads together to make a real impact in this area. Hopefully with the help of friends and many other fanatics get a good group of people together to make this region exciting and fun.

Much props brotha...... Having a home away from home for your toys is BADASS!!! Especially if this is just for the toys and not for business. Comitment I hear ya. Lease agreements are never nice but, i'm sure you'll be fine. Hopefully one of these days we'll be up that way and drop in. Again Congratulations......

07 season Actually ended up recycling all these and stopped taking trophies after that season. I kept the tall world finals trophies but I don't know if I'll ever take another picture unless I get a shop to put them all in to.

It shouldn't have to be but, it won't hurt. DON'T BE A CHEAP ASS!!!!!! Spend $10 on a decent toy, go to WalMart or Target. NO AN AM/PM TOY AIN'T GOING TO CUT IT. maybe the Cheveron Cars (they are cute looking) but, please put some effort. In the pass it has been one toy per class. With the economy its hard to ask for more but, you would probably spend more on a regulare db drag event so think of it as a discounted show with 100% of the proceeds (toys) going to Children. The tenative date is Nov. 15 for the show we plan on hosting but, will post a thread on it once we finalize everything.

Well if anyone can get a hold of Todd we can host in Salinas if all he needs is a location? I email him but he no email back. I don't think he likes me. LOL

THANKS DREW FOR PUTTING THE VIDEO UP CORREECTLY. I COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT Greg and I spent almost six hours on figuring out how to put the videos together plus going through all of them from World Finals before we were able finished Niel Barber's vid.

Well earlier this year........ We just started putting all these video together from Greg's card. Some have been trapped on their for a while. If Alpine was able to he uploaded what he could when he could. Hopefully we will be able to stay on top of these so they do not take so long to come out.
