the fucked up part is, he's only about 45 mintues from me. i really need to check on him. he has been in the hospital for about a week or more, he's still kickin', but, still. Damn, yeah I'm gonna have to go see him too. Hope all is okay, he's a really cool guy. ray is pretty active on Facebook. He's pretty busy over at sonus Wait, Ray now works for Sonus? Man, I totally don't want to piss you off, as I really think a lot of you. But I don't think anyone is ever going to be disappointed after buying a DC 5.0K. They are beast amps, and everyone who has ever heard/ owned one will tell you the same thing. Straight beast dude. Don't have to own an AD-1 to know that. Just a 5k.

Yeah, then more people would be blowing their stuff more often! Lol, no but honestly, does anyone really need their amps max potential, on music, at all times? I know I don't. On a different note, I'd love to see a Kicker amp tested. See if it does it's 2 ohm rating... like a ZX2500.1 for example, rated @2500 RMS @2ohms.

Wow am I glad I chose to go with 2 - 5.0's instead of one 12K. Or even one 10K. Anyway you can test two 5.0's strapped? (I could drive mine down to you, and pick up that motor while I'm there?)

I am running tests back to back with very little time for the batteries to recover. That is why the drop down to 13.5 on the uncertified test. Ideally I would let the batteries sit for a few minutes between each test, but with so little time and so many tests to run, I just cant. I totally get that, but why then was the 7.5's uncertified #'s higher, even though the voltage was lower? Actually, every amp I've seen tested has gotten more power from un-certified mode. I'm not really concerned with the voltage as much as I am the output #'s. That wasn't that much voltage drop.. Just don't see how the "un-certified" mode would get weaker. And on this amp only. Not trying to argue or start shit, just really don't understand those results. I think that # should be over 6K, if the certified is over 6K. See what I'm getting at?

Don't really understand the 5K #'s at all. Why did the voltage go so low on the un-certified? And the output dropped as well? 6K + on certified, but why would the un-certified get lower?

Sweet! Got my Solo X dust cap in today, sub will finally be finished! This DC red carbon fiber cap is just perfect... the whole sub just came out freakin sweet! I am pumped, now to plan an enclosure for it...

I love klicker, honestly. First time i saw the solo-baric i fell in love. First time i say a 12" driver that only needed 1 cuft of airspace. Innovation ftw.
