  1. That's true, but at the same time, just because you have the ability to get loud, does not mean you do not have a SQ setup...
  2. I think I may switch to Sundown...

  3. Man, I am going through the wiring fun as we speak, and I have to say, you make it look sooo easy! What an awesome build! Top notch equipment + a super clean top notch install + a top of the line car = Steve's Lexus I would almost bet my life that it is gonna sound crazy good once you get it all tuned. Man I wish Cali wasn't so far, I would LOVE to see this in person. Maybe one day....
  4. The first vid was just pure luck. He wasn't even taking a shot, he was trying to save it from going out of bounds. He was tossing it in bounds, and got super lucky, that's all. Now the other vids posted have some super nice shots on them! I like when Artest hits the three from half court, but shoots it like a regular jumper. And the last 2, both very cool! I bet the other guys were like, "WTF"! You could see the disappointment all over them in that last vid... And the crowd goes silent.... I love that shit!
  5. Also, don't mix very much resin up at a time. Do it in small cups, so if it does setup too fast, you don't waste that much. And about half as much hardener, maybe less. It depends on the humidity. If it's low, use VERY little hardener.
  6. I've looked through this, and you guys all have listed some really sweet amps, most of which I would love to have any day! The amp I have always wanted, but never got, wasn't anything exotic or rare.. I have always dreamed of owning a nice, powerful Rockford Fosgate amp. The models I have wanted have changed a few times, started out wanting a Punch 40 back in the early 90's. And now it's the Power series 2500.1. I know, common right? I can't help it. For some reason, I really want to run them, but never get to do it Maybe one day...
  7. I'm sure we can work something out if they are BNIB to get the ZVX's in some cars! Ask him and see what's up Thanks man, will do!
  8. Hmm, wonder if Kevin would work with me on getting my 4 unused VVX 15's upgraded to these sexy beast? I just LOVE the way they look! My car needs these.... And maybe later on some of the Skar components in my doors, I just need 6.5's and 5.25's..... Hmmm it would be cool....
  9. Man, I love the doors! They look sooo clean, it almost looks factory! Like they made a RF edition Lexus from the factory just for you! You did a nice job wrapping them too! Just perfect, all the way around!
  10. Sweet! Got mine in a week of two ago, and got my fingers crossed! My car would LOVE some RF POWER!!! Very cool of you to do this Steve, very cool! SMD RULES!!!
  11. Mmmmm this would be perfect for me, and anyone else stuck on a 12v setup. I may just have to sell my 5.0K.... Can someone PM me a price on this? Thanks! Also, is this a 2 ch like the 12.0K, or a mono-block like the 9.0K?
  12. I think they all look like shit! I used to like the small wires on the low-riders back in the day, but this doesn't even look good at all IMO...
  13. Okay so why did my thread trying to help someone else get deleted?

  14. That is a sharp HU, man I wish I could fit a double din! Bump for a good deal on a great product!
  15. Werd... You know your math is wrong... Right? 25-14 does not =9. Lol! Someone remind me not to hire this guy as my accountant.
  16. No doubt, some awesome work here! Man I wish I was closer to OK... And Ray, those doors are gonna be sweet! I kinda wish now that I had started with an armrest... if you don't do that at first, it's kinda hard to include later on. Anyway, I will be wrapping my doors soon, and I too can use all the tips and advice I can get. I just sunk almost $200 in vinyl just to take the 10% chance that they can be done seamless. And now I'm starting to second guess myself...
  17. Fabric paint works, but it will feel different. But it looks nice. If it is just temp, I'd just paint it.
  18. Yeah I just paid almost twice that, $28/yard for 4 yards, I hope it's good! And more importantly, I hope I can get it laid down right!
  19. Okay, so I made a trip to find some vinyl, and here is what I found out. For hard curves such as on my doors, stretch vinyl is needed. And most fabric stores don't carry it, it is a specialty item that must be ordered. And so far, the best that I have found is the 4 way stretch, as mentioned in this post from earlier. So anyway, you were right, this is what I was looking for. And although I bitched about the price on it, in all fairness, it's really not that bad. I just ordered 4 linear yards. And a gallon of DAP Weldwood, this http://www.yourautotrim.com/noname37.html. Wish me luck!
  20. Wow, this looks more than just good. It looks freakin great! You have got to be so proud.... And now, thanks to this build, my girl "wants her trunk to be like that" - Which is a big deal considering she is not into systems much. I told her she better start saving now, cause nothing in this trunk is cheap! Anyway, great job, as expected. Now I'm really anxious to see what you have in mind for the doors....
