here is something i had for a long time it works perfect in great condition alpine dat player it came out i think in 1989 for about $1500 i found it on ebay for $150 about 8 years ago still works great no problems i thought i share this

get the cresendo the best deal out there the 5500 does 5500watts at 1ohm on 13.8 volts most other amps rate theres at 14.4 or above best deal out there for $899 out the door

its a good amp sounds great over all i had it running 2 8inch midbass and 2 tweeters to my doors it was not powerful enough for me but for a good set of 6 1/2 no problem DD wants to much money for there a/b amps i have running is the cresendo 4 channel and it shits all over the DD a/b amp and a lot cheeper also . its a good amp i would run it on a small system any day hope this helps my 2 cents

i had the nz500 i bought it new, after 30 days the the bluetooth stopped working after 3 months the cd player sometimes would not play after 8 months the usb sometimes worked but the navigation always worked good if you can get it cheep go for it but i would never buy clarion head unit ever again i understand things happen there is flaws things break but 3 different things went wrong with the clarion nz500 under a year not except able, at all , the best thing happen was it got stolen out of my truck now i have the alpine cda-117 i am happy no problems at all , save your cash get something else unless its a smoking deal

i have 2 $10 8 inch midbass in my doors and 4 $10 6.5 midbass in my back doors all from parts express the sound quality is amazing and volume is so high its amazing i am running a older planet audio made in America 4 channel 175.4 bridged to 2 channel at 1ohm total guessing 300 watts each side its impressive the only thing i spent money on was on the tweeters i got 6 kicker tweeters my buddies and most people spend $300 cant even touch me on volume and sound quality cant believe how loud it plays and very clean no breakup or distortion at high levels i spent under $300 on speakers if i would have never said anything people would think i spent over $1000 on my mids and highs the point i am saying i agree its the install and speaker placement

i stick with Dell latitude laptops and desktops there build like a tank parts are so cheep to get and available everywhere and no special drivers needed like some Hp computers

cresendo is the way to go lowest prices out of all the competitions amps out there and will do rated power easy and more there specs are rated at 13.8 volts

i used both setups sealed and free air, my experience free air takes less power more efficient , sealed can handle more power less efficient but i think sound better if you feed them the power you get more kick out of your midbassand can handle more power
