I would do something different with the amp and instead of a cap I would rather have a battery. you can get a crescendo bc2000D for 340 shipped that is a couple hundred cheaper than the Rockford. That would allow you to do a battery instead of a cap or savings towards a H/O alt. i would take his advice, save money by using Crescendo, AQ, Ap, or anything not RF. i know their amps are amazing but for the price of the amp only being 1500-2000 rms, which you probably wont see after rise, you can get a higher rated amp, especially Crescendo, that ll more and then some. also, look in the for-sale section for some good deals!

usually agm batts rest in the high 12.5+ but closer to 129 on average. if the voltage of the batt drops right as you take it off the charger that is charging around 14.x volts, back down to 12.5 in a matter of minutes... i dont think that is normal. they usually take a while to drop after it reaches 13 volts resting

I would stay away from gorilla glue for boxes, but the tape is what a lot of people use instead of fiberglassing to the b - pillars when sealing. Search for gorilla glue here on the forums and a lot of people will say the same thing

I heard that gorilla glue doesn't bond like titebond does. Titebond ftw

Wire it as high of a load as possible. Aren't home stereos usually 8 ohm

if your talkin to me i still think the 1250 or whatever would be better cause he could just back the amp off than the t1000 that won't give him the power he needs at 3 ohms I wasn't talking to anyone in particular. But, ever seen a W7 on a true 1,000? It doesn't like it very much. Lol Are you saying it will sound bad with that much power?? I don't want to over power it but I do want to be loud as I can lol it wont sound bad, what theyre meaning is it wasnt really meant to be fed more than 1k. or maybe not even close to 1k... they arent the subs for getting loud with, or i wouldnt think they would be

It is a good idea to keep a spare alt just incase, especially if its a daily driver. I know you said you checked if all your connections are tight, but did any power/ ground wires feel hot

You can get a 3k amp for you money and another batt with the lefty
