thanks frozn, i thought thats what it does but i also thought it made a sub look prettier. so there is no downside to removing the trim?

i was wondering if these trim rings were important on the subs and when you mount them. i was hard for me to mount the subs with 1/4" bolt and using t-nuts. so i removed the ring and mounted them pretty tight to the baffle. u cant put your fingernail in between. but i wanted to get opinions if it is important to use them, like a gasket? thanks, larry

ANd i just told you today i didnt want your blown lvl 3 12. haha... im planning on using the new lvl 3s when they come out. new lvl 3? they're redesigning the motors for the level three. idk if we are supposed to be talking about the specs right now though. but basically better power handling. ahhh i see, thanks for telling me, i havent been keeping up to date with everything lately. but couldnt you just bump up to lvl 4? or just add options like spiders, cf cap/cone, tinsel leads?

ah okay, i thought it was solder. logan did a mod to the terminals that required solder and a all-thread rod. maybe the soldering iron or heat caused something to be detached. and how could i check if the amp has a bad rca?

the money you are gonna spend on those subs, i would go with 1 or 2 subs from DC, Fi, AA, Sundown, and definetley look at SKAR!!!!

Cj, the amp has no master/ slave. I wish it was.strappable tho. And red-navi, the pics are of the speaker terminals. On the most right, there is solder touching the silver circle of the board
